Implementor Guideline TIA/EIA-732-1024, TIA/EIA-732-1025 and TIA/EIA-732-1026 specify the procedures and data communications necessary for a CM-ES to access CDPD service using an AMPS cellular system or land line connection where Circuit Switched CDPD service is available.1 ObjectivesTIA/
37、EIA-732 Part 1024, Part 1025 and Part 1026 provide the protocols and specification necessary for vendors and Service Providers to implement CS CDPD and integrate with the existing CDPD environment. 44、ditional areas are addressed.1. Connection time is recorded in order to provide service providers with the option of integrated billing based on connection time as well as an audit mechanism for voice call records.2. A distinction is made between CM-ESs that initiate a physical connection for regist
45、ration purposes only, termed “Registration Only” CM-ES, versus CM-ESs that initiate a physical connection to exchange data with an F-ES.3. Invalid or fraudulent attempts to establish a CS CDPD connection are recorded.Every effort has been made to minimize the modifications to CDPD. Except where note
46、d, the requirements, concepts and definitions provided in TIA/EIA-732-630 apply to CS CDPD. In the discussion that follows, reference is made to modem bank functionality as described in TIA/EIA-732-1025. A CMD-IS manufacturer can choose to physically integrate within the CMD-IS the functionality des

Such an implementation does not change the requirements described within the remainder of this section.2 Identifying the NEI for which Connection Time Accounting Information will be RecordedAll connection time accounting will be associated with the first NEI registered by a CM-E
48、S, regardless of the order in which subsequent registrations or deregistrations of NEIs occur (including deregistration of the first NEI registered). Likewise, in the case of suspended sessions that are resumed, all connection time accounting will be based on the first NEI registered during the init

The first NEI is defined as the first NEI associated with a CM-ES that has been succesfully registered in the Mobile Serving Functions Registration Directory within the CMD-IS as described in TIA/EIA-732-501.TIA/EIA-732-1026 Accounting Service102641234567891011121314151617181920212223242526272829303132333435363738394041424344454647484950515253545556575859603 Traffic Matrix Segment ModificationsA new TMS row type is introduced as discussed in “CS Connection Time Rows”.
