37、neral Cell Identifiers, while unique to a switch, may not be unique across a cdma2000 telecommunication service providers (TSPs) network. The Cell Identifiers may be duplicated in multiple switches across a single TSPs network. In order to uniquely identify a specific Cell on a cdma2000system, the S

38、ystem Identifier (SID) and Network Identifier (NID) need to be known as well. If Base Station Identifier (1.2 Purpose BSID) SID+NID+Cell Identifier or Subnet is available at a TSPs IAP, it would provide the serving TSP Identity of a subscriber roaming in another network. The BSID or Subnet is helpfu

39、l to uniquely identify a Cell when a TSP sends the more useful location identifying information to an LEA. The purpose of this Addendum to ANSI/J-STD-025-B is to add the BSID or Subnet to the LocationInformation parameter type definition in the cdma2000Abstract Syntax for PacketData CII Delivery. 1.

40、3 Scope This addendum consists of additions and modifications to ANSI/J-STD-025-B for supporting BSID or Subnet information in the LocationInformation parameter type of the cdma20002 Revisions to ANSI/J-STD-025-B Abstract Syntax for PacketData CII Delivery.
