24、rameters, either in thefigures or in the accompanying text descriptions. Parameters are included where they aredeemed necessary to improve the understanding of the scenario. For a complete description ofthe parameters associated with each operation, refer to Parts 540 and 550.2 DO NOT DISTURBThis se

25、ction depicts the interactions between network entities in various situations related toautomatic roaming and Do Not Disturb (DND). These scenarios are for illustrative purposesonly.2.1 DND Activation or De-ActivationThe information flows required for the activation or de-activation of DND by an aut

26、horized MSare described in Part-311 Section 2.1.2.2 DND InvocationThis scenario describes the invocation of DND for an authorized MS. a. A call origination and the dialed MS address digits (i.e., directory number) are receivedby the Originating MSC.b. The Originating MSC sends a LOCREQ to the MSs HL

28、termines from the MSs service profile that Do Not Disturb is active. Thestatus of the MS is returned to the Originating MSC by the HLR via theAccessDeniedReason parameter in the locreq. An AnnouncementList parametermay be included to specify the tones or announcements to be provided to the callingpa

29、rty.d. The Originating MSC provides treatment to the served MS as indicated in thelocreq. In this case, the treatment is to provide call refusal treatment.2.3 DND Interaction with CFD or CFNAThe interaction of DND with CFD is described in Part 322 Section 3.6, CFD Invocation-Immediate.The interactio

30、n of DND with CFNA is described in Part 322 Section 4.4, CFNA Invocation-Immediate.2.4 DND Interaction with CFUThis scenario describes the interaction of DND with CFU for an authorized MS. a. A call origination and the dialed MS address digits (i.e., directory number) are receivedby the Originating

31、MSC.b. The Originating MSC sends a LOCREQ to the MSs HLR.c. The HLR determines from the MSs service profile that DND and CFU are active.Therefore, it sends a locreq to the Originating MSC providing the forward-tonumber and other routing information in the TerminationList parameter, along with anindi

32、cation of the reason for extending the incoming call (i.e., for CFU) in theDMH_RedirectionIndicator parameter.d.
