It is the tenth edition of CSA C22.
42、2 No. 112 and the fourth edition of UL 2158. This edition of CSA C22.2 No. 112 supersedes the previous edition published in 2014. This UL edition supersedes the previous edition published in 2014. The major differences between this edition and the previous edition include the addition of requirement
43、s for DC Dielectric Test Potential, updates to the safety related controls to include new technologies, addition of requirements for heat pump dryers, modication to the requirements of a high limit control, addition of requirements for a “cool down” period, clarication of the requirements for HB mat
44、erials, modication of the accessibility requirements between the bottom of the appliance and the oor, addition of test procedures due to the breakdown of belts and interruption of water supply, addition of test for polymeric electrical connections (Nichrome Wire Test), addition of an alternative tes
45、t procedure for electronic controls, addition of plumbing requirements from the withdrawn AHAM HLW-2PR document previously referenced and the clarication that the term “live parts” throughout the document is intended to mean “uninsulated live parts” or “live parts”. This harmonized Standard was prep
46、ared by CSA Group and Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). The efforts and support of the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) are gratefully acknowledged. This Standard is considered suitable for conformity assessment within the stated scope of the Standard. This Standard was reviewed
47、 by the CSA Subcommittee on Clothes-Drying Machines, under the jurisdiction of the CSA Technical Committee on Consumer and Commercial Products and the CSA Strategic Steering Committee on Requirements for Electrical Safety, and has been formally approved by the CSA Technical Committee. This standard
48、has been approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as an American National Standard. Application of Standard Where reference is made to a specic number of samples to be tested, the specied number is to be considered a minimum quantity. Note: Although the intended primary applicati

Level of Harmonization This Standard is published as an identical standard for CSA Group and UL. An identical standard is a standard that is exactly the same in technical content except for national differences resulting from conicts in codes and governmental regulations. Pres
