One area of the unit, of approxi-mately 0.01 m2(16 sq. in.) inside the bowl in the normal, functional area, shall be conditioned by rubbing for 25cycles with

25、normal hand pressure using a 600 grit wet sili-cone carbide abrasive paper.41All reagents and chemicals in this specification have varying degrees of acuteand chronic toxicity when entering the body through inhalation, ingestion orskin absorption. You should be aware of these toxic effects and take

26、precau-tions (e.g., gloves, ventilation, respirator) to avoid harmful exposure. TheMaterial Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for these chemicals and reagents will bereviewed and precautions will be taken as required.2Standard liquid detergent consists of, by volume: 8.0% tetrapotassiumpyrophosphate (Monsant

Structural integrity of complete units (alltypes)4.1 Unit preparation. These load tests shall be performedon complete full-size units installed according to

32、manufac-turers installation instructions so as to simulate conditionsof permanent installation, excluding fittings and piping.4.2 Drain fitting connection4.2.1 Test method. A weight of 110 4N (25 1 lb.)shall be gradually applied by means of a lever arm 610 6mm (24 1/4 in.) in length connected to the

33、 drain fittingsand extending horizontally as shown in Figure 1. Theweight shall be applied to the lever arm over a 5 to 10 sec-ond interval so as not to cause a momentary loading exceed-ing the specified test parameters. Any combination ofweight and lever arm can be used in lieu of the 25 lb.weight

34、and 24 inch lever arm as long as the moment isequal to 50 foot lbs (67.8Nm) The arm and weight shallthen be placed for one minute in each of three radial posi-tions, two of which shall be approximately 3.141 Rad(180) apart. Following this test and the subsequent checkfor cracks, the load test shall

35、be repeated with the lavatoryfilled to the flood level rim with water at 23 2C (73.4 6F) and checked for leaks.5Standard dirt consists of: 20 parts carbon black (pigment grade), 20 parts ironblack (iron oxide, black), 20 parts calcium stearate, 5 parts 30W motor oil, 1part wetting agent (Triton X-10
