Intended use. This commercial item description c
2、overs pedestal mounted tables for display of bananas for sale. 2. CLASSIFICATION 2.1 Classification. The banana display table shall be of the following types: Type I - Round Type II - Rectangular 3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 3.1 Design and construction. The banana display tables shall be pedestal moun
3、ted and constructed of reinforced molded fiberglass. The tables shall have four sculptured shelves for product display. The outside perimeter and sides of the tables shall have replaceable, heavy duty vinyl cart-type bumpers mounted in aluminum trim. The type II table shall be flat on one side such
4、that they can be used alone or in pairs, back to back, to form a display island. The color of the tables shall be jade green and the pedestals shall be white. 3.2 Dimensions. The type I table shall be 72 inches in diameter and 45 inches high, -k 2 inches. The type II table shall be 72 inches long by
5、 34 inches wide by 45 Triches high, - t 2 inches. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE 4.1 Certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this description, conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, a
6、nd is the same as the product offered for sale in the commercial marketplace. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under provisions of the contract. 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packaging. The banana displa
