ABST
3、RACT This CID covers a synthetic rubber gasket used in pressurized automotive fuel filters . SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS a. Material. The gasket shall be made of a low volume swell synthetic rubber designation M5BG610A14B24E014F17 or M5BG710A14B24E014F17 in accordance with American Society for Testing a
4、nd Materials (ASTM) standard D2000. The use of recovered materials made in compliance with regulatory requirements is acceptable providing that all requirements of this CID are met (see note e). 1. Age control. The maximum age of gaskets at the time of acceptance by the Government acquiring activity
5、 shall be no more than 40 quarters from the cure date. b. Gasket sizes. Gaskets shall be made in accordance with the sizes specified in figure 1. c. Storage. Gaskets shall be protected from circulating air, sunlight, fuel, oil, water, dust, and ozone during storage. Storage temperature shall not exc

Responsibility for inspection. The contractor is responsible for the A performance

The contractor shall certify and maintain substantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this CID and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, workmanship
12、 standards, and quality assurance practices. Items with known defects shall not be submitted for Government acceptance. conformance prior to the first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. The Government reserves the right to require proof of
