COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION HOOK, ROPE, DECK The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description (CID) for all federal agencies. 1. SCOPE. This CID covers requirements for one type of rope deck hook. The hook is inten
3、ded for use in bolted tank service. 2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS . The hook shall be as shown in Figure 1, and as specified herein (see 6.3). 2.1 Descm 2.2 w. Material shall be as specified herein. Material not specified shall be selected by the supplier and shall be subject to all provisions of this
4、specification. 2.2.1 Steel ba. Steel bar shall be 11.13 millimeters (mm) (0.438 inch) diameter, round, and shall conform to ASTM A663/A663M with a chemical composition suitable for the purpose. 2.3 W. After forming, the hook shall be zinc galvanized by the hot-dip process in accordance with ASTM A15
