SCOPE 1.1 Scope. T
2、his CID is for a kit to restore optical clarity to lightly scratched or scuffed transparent acrylic windshields and windows. 2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 2.1 Description. The kit contains items that are to be used on site to remove, by light buffing, lightly scratched or scuffed aircraft windows and w
3、indshields fabricated from transparent acrylic panels. 2.2 Kit components. Each kit shall consist of the following components: a. Abrasive cloth: Nine sheets of cushioned abrasive cloth, 3 x 6 inches. One sheet in each of the following grades: 1500, 1800, 2400, 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000, and 1200

The kit shall be capable of restoring the visual clarity of lightly scratched aircraft windshields or windows when the procedures which accompany each kit are followed. 3. QUALITY ASSURANCE
8、 PROVISIONS 3.1 Contractor certification. The contractor shall certify and maintain substantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of the CID, and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices,
9、and is the same product offered for sale in the commercial marketplace. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. 4. PACKAGING 4.1 General. Preservation, packing
