SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS. The following characteristics may differ from t
7、hose listed in the latest edition of A-A-59326. 3.1 Accessories. The coupling shall be supplied with pull rings and gasket indicated. The 6-inch 150 psi rated coupling half shall have four (4) cam-arms. 3.2 Threads. The coupling threads shall conform to National Tapered Pipe Thread per ANSI/ASME B1.
8、20.1. 3.3 Hydrostatic Test Pressure. The -inch through 6-inch couplings shall withstand a hydrostatic test pressure of 300 pounds per square inch gage (psig). The 6-inch, 75 psi rated couplings shall withstand a hydrostatic test pressure of 150 psig. The 6-inch, 150 psi rated couplings shall withsta
9、nd a minimum hydrostatic test pressure of 225 psig. 3.4 Working Pressure. The -inch through 4-inch couplings shall be rated for 150 pounds per square inch working pressure. The 6-inch couplings shall be rated for 75 psi or 150 psi working pressure as appropriate. 4. NOTES 4.1 Part Identification Num
10、ber (PIN). The following PIN procedure is for government purposes and does not constitute a requirement for the contractor. 12、inless Steel Style 1 - Style 1 couplings do not require the incorporation of a positive locking mechanism to lock the cam arms in the closed position but the cam arms shall stay in the closed position when the coupling halves are assembled. Style 2 - Style 2 couplings shall incorporate a positive lo
13、cking mechanism to lock the cam arms in the closed position when the coupling halves are assembled. The locking mechanism shall be manually released (the release doesnt have to stay in the released position) before the cam arms can be moved to the open position.
