1、flIL-B-63524A (I) 9999906 1973133 T54 I INCH-POUND 1 MIL-B-63524A(AR) AMENDMENT 1 21 December 1993 MILITARY SPECIFICATION BATTERY, HED, SINGLE CELL, PRIMARY RESERVE This amendment forms a part of Military Specification MIL-B-63524A(AR), dated 12 January 1988, and is approved for use by the US Army A

2、rmament, Munitions and Chemical Command, and is available for use by all Department and Agencies of the Department of Defense. 3.10.1 Accelerated storage aging verification. Add the following paragraph: 3.10.1 Accelerated storage aging verification. All HED Battery (Dwg. 93281871 samples for First A

3、rticle Testing shall be conditioned for 21 days at 215OF + 5OF prior to testing for the requirements of 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.11, 3.12 and 3.13. During production, a continuous sample of 5 batteries per hour shall be taken from each lot and subjected to 215OF + 5OF for 21 days. If after conditioning, the

4、 batteries meet the non-activation voltage requirements of 3.3, lot acceptance samples will be taken from the production lot and subjected to lot acceptance testing. If after conditioning the batteries do not meet the non-activation voltage requirement of 3.3, then the entire lot shall be rejected.“

In place of the normal sampling associated with the classification of defects, at startup, a sample of at least 25 annealed ampul blanks shall be examined using a polaroscope or equivalent for the requirements of 3.14.1. 10、ddition, a sample of 5 blanks shall be selected each hour during the annealing process production run. continue selecting until 25 consecutive annealed ampuls pass. If any defects are found during the production run, that portion of the run will be screened until the last 5 acceptable units. Further
