Section 4.3, Test methods and procedures: Ad6 the following paragraph: “4.3.2 Waterproofness of
18、 plastic container.-The sample container shall be tested for leakage by submerging in water contained in a vacuum vessel and drawing a vacuum. A vacuum differential of 216m (8-1/2 inches) of mercury shall be held for 30 seconds (minimum). Observation for evolution of air bubbles shall be made. A ste
19、ady stram or recurring succession of bubbles from any surface or area of the closure shall be cause for rejection. Section 5, Preparation for Delivery: Delete paragraphs 5.1.1, 5.2.1, 5.3, and 5.4 and substitute the following: “5.1.1 Level A.-The cartridge shall be preserved and packaged in accordan
20、ce with either dwg. 7549247 or dwg. 9223176. 5.2.1 Level A.-The containers snail be packed in accordance with dwg. 7549248 when fiber containers are used an in accordance with dwg. 9223177 when plastic containers are used. 5.3 Marking.-When fiber containers are used the containers shall be marked in
21、 accordance with dwg. 7549247, and the wood crates shall be marked in accordance with dwg. 7549248.
