REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Fabrication. The Receiver-Transmitter Control C-8728( )/ G-1, herein referred to as the uni

8、t, shall be manufactured in accordance with Drawing F11738851 and drawings pertaining thereto. 3.2 General specification. The unit shall meet the following requirements, where applicable, of MIL-F- 13926; a. Order of precedence b. Dimensions and tolerances c. Inorganic protective surface finishes d.

9、 Electrical and electronic assemblies e. Part identification and marking f. Wo r kmans hip. 3.2.1 Soldering. Soldering of electrical connections shall be in accordance with MIL-S-45743 or MIL-S-46844, except that bare copper wire exposure shall be permitted at clipped ends of component Leads, 3.3 Pe

10、rformance. Unless otherwise specified, the unit shall meet the performance requirements of this specification at standard ambient temperatures between 60 degrees Fahrenheit (O F) and 90“ F. 3.3.1 Power and signals. The unit shall perform as specified herein when the power and signals of table I are

11、applied as specified, 3.3.1.1 Continuity. Direct continuity (resistance equal to or less than 0.3 ohm) shall exist between the pins of J1 and P1 which are directly interconnected as shown on the applicable schematic diagram called out on Drawing F11738851. 3.3.1.2 RANGE and RESET switches. With no p

12、ower or signals applied, the circuit conditions between pins of P1 and between pins of J1, as listed in table II, shall be as specified in table II for the indicated positions of the RANGE and RESET switches. 3.3.1.3 RESET indicator. With the +13 Vdc power of table I applied as specified, but with n

With the t13 Vdc power of table 1 applied as specified, but with no signal applied, the indicator light marked RANGE shall not light. as specified and with the logical zero signal type B of table I applied to J1-N, the range indicator light shall light. With the t13 Vdc power applied 3.3.1. 5 Reti

With the t13 Vdc power of table I applied as specified, full-range clockwise rotation of the shaft of poten- tiometer R1 shall cause the voltage at Pl-10 referenced to J1-L to vary from to. 5 *O. 5 Vdc to t13.0 *l. 5 Vdc. 3.3.1.6 Azimuth drive train backlash. With the azimuth outp

19、ut shaft locked in place, the azimuth control knob shall rotate not more than 10 degrees (sum of positive and negative rotation)-when a torque of 15 ounce-inch . (oz. -in. 1 is alternately applied in the positive and negative directions. 3. 3. 1. 7 Elevation drive train backlash. With the elevation

20、output . shaft locked in place, the elevation control knob shall rotate not more than 8 degrees (sum of positive and negative rotation) when a torque of 15 oz. -in. is alternately applied in the positive and negative directions. 3. 3.2 Environmental. 3.3.2.1 Storape temperature. The unit shall meet

21、the requirements of 3. 3.1 at ambient temperature after exposure to and thermal stabili- zation at -80F and t1 60F. 3. 3.2.2 Operating temperatures. The unit shall meet the require- ments of 3. 3. 1 while exposed to and thermally stabilized at -40F and t125OF, subsequent to which the requirements of

22、 3.3.1 shall be met at ambient temperature. 3. 3.2. 3 Vibration, The unit shall show no physical failure and shall meet the requirements of 3.3.1 afte r being exposed to the following vibrator y conditions: a. Amplitude : 1/64 inch, constant (1 132 inch double amplitude) b. Vibratory motion: Simple

The unit shall meet the requirements of 3. 3.1 after being exposed to a total of 15 shock impulses, three in each direction along the X and Y axes and one in the positive direction along the Z axis. a time duration of 3. 5 &O. 5 milliseconds and a peak amplitude

25、of 1 oog. Each shock impulse shall be half-sine wave with 3.3.3 Seating. With the unit initially pressurized with nitrogen or air to 5 I1 pounds per square inch gage (psig) (with cover in place), the loss of pressure shall not exceed 0,055 psig in one-half hour, except for special sampling-environme

26、ntal, during which the loss of pressure shali not exceed O. 22 psig in 2 hours. 3. 34 Internal. pressure. Subsequent to meeting the sealing requirements, the unit shall be dry flushed with an internal atmosphere containing air or nitrogen having a dew point of at least -63. 5“F, and an internal pres

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise s

28、pecified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own or any other f.acilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified here

29、in, unless disapproved by the Government. reserves the right to perform any of the inspections setlorth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements, Except The Government . 4. 1.1 General provisions. The coinpone

30、nt and subassembly inspec- tion requirements of MIL-F-13926 form a part of the quality assurance provi si on s of thi s s p e ci fi cation , shall be as listed in RIL-STD-109. D ef i ni ti on s of ins pe c ti o ti te r 1x1 s 4. 2 First article (initial production) approval. The require- ment for fir

31、st article approval and the responsibility (Government or contractor) for first article testing shall be as specified in the contract. The sample for first article approval tests shall consist of three units. The sample shall be manufactured in the same manner, using the same materials, equipment, p

32、rocesses, and procedures as used in regular production. All parts and materials , including packaging and packing, shall be obtained froin the same soitrce of supply as used in regular production. 4. 2. 1 Government testing. When the Government is responsible for conducting first article approval te

33、sts, the contractor, prior to submitting the sample to the Government, shall inspect the sample to insure conformance to all the requirements of this specification. record of this inspection, including certificates of conformance for materials, shall be submitted with the sample. A 4.2.2 Contractor

34、testing. When the contractor is responsible for conducting first article approval tests, the sarnpIe shall be inspected by the contractor for all the requirements of this specification. The sample and a record of this inspection, including certificates of con- formance for materials, shall be submit

36、oduct. Unless otherwise specified herein or by the contracting officer, inspection lot size, lot formation and presentation of lots shall be in accordance with inspection and sampling procedures herein and submission of product provisions of MIL-STD-105. 4. 3.2 Examination and tests. 4,3.2.1 Compone

37、nts and- subassemblies. All components and sub- assemblies shall be inspected in accordance with the inspection provisions contained in the respective specification and Supplementary Quality Assur- ance Provisions (SQAP) listed in the technical data package (TDP). In the absence of SQAPs, the applic

38、able quality assurance provisions of MIL-F-13926 shall applb-. 4.3.2.2 First article testing.
