18、le strength of body material. 3.3.2 Tensile strenuth of bodv material. The tensile strength of the body material shall not be less than 50,000 pounds per square inch (psi). 3.4 Painted surface. The painted surfaces of the container shall comply with the requirements of TT-C-490. However, the film th

Upon assembly of the cover assembly to the body assembly (body weldment), the cover assembly shall freely engage and rotate within the body assembly. is rotated with the IiYii handle in the open position, the iiii handle shaft ends shall freely engage into
21、 the respective bayonet slots of the rim. When the iiYii handle is rotated toward the closed position, the iiYii handle shall push the spring clip out of the way and snap into place (closed position) and the spring clip shall return to its original position locking the iiYii handle. when the iiYii h
22、andle is returned to the open position, it shall push the spring clip out of the way permitting a 180 degree rotation of the iiYii handle to the open position with the spring clip returning to its normal position. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 ResDonsibilitv for ins

Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitabl

Inspection lots shall comply with the lot formation provisions of MIL-A-48078. In a
38、ddition, inspection lots of containers shall contain mater ia1 from lots with the same interfix number from one manufacturer. 4.4.2 Examinations and tests. a. Classification of characteristics. Quality conformance examinations and tests are specified in the following Classification of Characteristic
39、s paragraphs. The contractors quality program or detailed inspection system shall provide assurance of compliance of all characteristics with the applicable drawing and specification requirements utilizing as a minimum the conformance criteria specified herein. When cited herein, attributes sampling
40、 inspection shall be conducted in accordance with Table II below, using the inspection levels stated in the Classification of Characteristics paragraphs. Table II. Alternative quality conformance provisions. Alternative quality conformance procedures, methods, or equipment, such as statistical process co
44、ntrol, tool control, other types of sampling procedures, etc., may be used by the contractor when they provide, as a minimum, the level of quality assurance required by the provisions specified herein. Prior to applying such alternative procedures, methods, or equipment, the contractor shall describ
45、e them in a written proposal submitted to the Government for evaluation (see 6.5). When required, the contractor shall demonstrate that the effectiveness of each proposed alternative is equal to or better than the specified quality assurance provision(s) herein.
