The rubber compound used in the manufacture of the sheet stock shall contain not less than 92 percent, by volume, of new natural rubber. 3.1.2 Antioxidants and accelerators. The supp
9、lier shall furnish a certificate stating the trade names, the manufacturers, and the amount of the antioxidants and the accelerators used in compounding the stock. 3.2 Manufacture. The disks shall be manufactured from the molded sheet stock in accordance with the applicable drawing listed in 2.1. 3.
10、2.1 Color. The color of the disks shall be as specified in the contract or order. When assembled to the appropriate valve seat the disks shall co
11、nform to the entire valve seat surface and shall not fail. away at any point from the seat regardless of the position in which the seat is held. 3.4 Phy sicd properties. When assembled to the appropriate valve seat the disks shall not leak more than 250 milliliters of air per minute at a pressure differential of 25 millimeters of water when tested as specified in 4.2.4.3. 3

When assembled to the appropriate valve seat the disks shall have a resistance not to exceed a pressure differen- tial of 5 millimeters of water for the A5-3-95 disk and 6 millimeters of water for the A5-2-537 disk at an airflow rate of 85 liters per minute when tested as spec
15、ified in 4.2.4.4. 3.7 Workmanship. The disks shall have a smooth finish on both sides; shall have clean cut peripheral and hole edges; and shall be free from tackiness, imperfections, such as porous areas, cracks, checks, abrasions and blisters, foreign matter (grease, oil , dirt, or ash), and damag
16、e, such as tears, slits a& ptmctumes. 3.8 Resistance to oxygen-pressure aging. Valve disks shall show no cracking or increased hardness or tackiness after 72 hours of acceler- ated aging in oxygen, at a pressure of 2100 +i00 Kilonewton per square meter and a temperature of 70 - + 1 C, when tested as

QALITY ASCURCMCE PROVISIONS 4 .l Responsibility for inspection. 4.1*1 Suppliers responsibility. Unless otherwise specified
18、in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the per- formance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Ekcept as otherwise specified in the contract or order, the supplier may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection require

The valve disks shall be tested for airflow resistance using Q212 inlet and outlet valve resistance indicator a
30、fter they are assembled as follows: Inlet valve disk (Dwg A5-3-95)-Assemble to inlet valve seat, Inlet valve disk (Dwg A5-2-537)-Assemble to canister mounting , 5-3450, and test using DLi36-44-1-5. 5-2-535, and test using DLi36-44-1-6. 4.2.4.5 Resistance to oxygen-pressure aging. 31、e tested in accordance with ASTM D572. 5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Packaging, packing and marking, interplant shipment (see 6.5). The disks shall be packaged and packed to provide adequate protection from the supply source to the first receiving activity for immediate use or further processing.
