17、ed with greaseproofed barrier material. The wrapped pins and mounting hardware (screws and washers) shall be placed together and wrapped with greaseproofed barrier material. 27、ping container as specified in 3.4.1 e 1.1 and 3,d.l. 1.2. The shipping container shall conform to one of the following specifications; PPP-B-601 - Any style under domestic type PPP-B-621 - Class 1 (domestic), any style, except 1, 5 and 6 3.4.4 Strapping. - Strapping shall be applied as specified in
28、 the applicable container specification. 9.5 Marking. 3.5.1 Interior packages. - Each floating bag shall be marked in accordance with Standard MIL-STD-129. in the Identification data on the floating bag, After the drive is bolted in position on the base, the following information shall be added on a

Contractor inspection. - Unless otherwise specified herein, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspecti
34、on requirements prior to submission for Government inspection and acceptance. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. Inspection records of the examination and tests shall be kept complete and available to
35、the Government as specified in the contract or order. 4.2 .Contractors quality qssurance system, - The contractor shall provide and maintain an dequate quality assurance system acceptable to the Government covering the supplies under the contract. A current written description of the system shall be
36、 submitted to the contracting officer prior to Initiation of production. acceptable when it provides: The written description will be considered (a) The quality assurance required by the applicable drawings and specifications listed in the contract or order. 38、tion or to the method of inspection listed provided that an equivalent control is includled in the approved-quality assurance procedure. In cases of dispute a8 ta whether or not certain procedures of the system provide equal assurance, the cornpasable procedure required by this specification shall b

The contractor shall notify the Government of, and obtain approval for, any change to the written procedure that might affect the -degree of assurance required by this specification and other applicable documents referenced herein. Verification will consist of (a) surveillance of the operations
41、 to determine that the practices, methods, and procedures of the written inspection plan are being properly applied, and (b) Government product inspection to measure quality of product offered for acceptance. Deviation from the prescribed OF agreed-upon procedures, or instances of poor practices whi
42、ch might have a detrimental affect upon the quality of the product, will be immediately called to the attention of the contractor. F.ailure of the contractor to promptly correct deficiencies discovered will be cause for suspension of acceptance until correction has been made or until conformance of
43、product to prescribed criteria has been demonstrated. To avoid interference with operations* the contractor will designate a responsible official or officials to whom the Government inspector will report such hstances. 4.4 Preproduction pack - One preproduction pack shall be inspected by the Governm
44、ent for Conformance to the requirements outlined herein. The preproduction pack shall be representative of the manufacturer Is normal pro - duction. 4.4.1 Dip.position of rgjected pr,eproduct$on pack. - Should the prepro- duction pack fail to pass the teet for Government acceptance, the contractor s
45、hall cease those operations which are causing rejecbable material and shall make the necessary corrections.
