3、: “4.4.1 Determination of moisture content of lead azide. A tared dried aluminum dish 2 inches in diameter shall be covered with a sheet of polytetrafluoroethylene 2-1/2 inches square and sufficiently flat to form a tight cover. An accurately weighed portion of approximately 2 grams shall be transfe
4、rred to the moisture dish while both the cover and dish are on the balance pan. The dish and contents shall be transferred to an oven and dried at 95 +/- 5 degrees C for 2 hours. The cover shall be placed in a desiccator during the drying period. After drying, the dish shall be quickly transferred t
5、o the desiccator and allowed to cool to room temperature. The PTFE cover shall be placed on the dish and the assembly weighed. 7、oisture content of lead azide, alternate method. 4.4.1 with the following exception. The sample shall be dried in a vacuum oven at a temperature of 95 +/- 5 degrees C and a pressure of 80 +/- 10 mm mercury for 45 minutes. 4.4.1.2 Determination of moisture content of primer mixture. Transfer an accur
8、ately weighed portion of approximately 1 gram of the primer mixture to a tared aluminum weighing dish provided with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) cover while both the dish and cover are on the balance pan. Place the dish and contents with the cover removed, in an oven maintained at 60 +/- 5 degre
9、es C for 2 hours. The cover shall be placed in a desiccator during the drying period. After drying, transfer the dish and contents quickly to a desiccator and cool to room temperature. Replace the PTFE cover and weigh. Calculate the loss in weight of the dish, the cover, and the contents to percent

A POP test report shall be generated in accordance with DI-PACK-81059 following the tests. POP testing may be waived if an acceptable analogy in accordance with 49 CFR, to another pack
13、which has successfully completed the testing, can be made. An analogy must also be documented in accordance with DI-PACK- 81059. When completed, either POP test report must be kept on file by the contractor and must also be submitted to the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Center, ATT
14、N: SMCAR-AEP, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. (Note: If a POP test report is prepared against an acceptable analogy, the analogy POP test must also be submitted to SMCAR-AEP). The POP marking to be applied to the exterior pack shall be as specified by the government after review and acceptance of
15、the submitted POP test reports. NOTE: The margins of this amendment aremarked with an asterisk or vertical line to indicate where changes (additions, modifications, corrections, deletions) from the previous amendment were made.
