Unless otherwise noted herein or in the contract, in the event of a conflict between the text of this document and the references cited, the text of this document takes precedence. 12、 and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 First article. When specified (see 6.2), a sample of the Practice Mine Assembly shall be subjected to first article inspection in accordance with 4.3. 3.2 Conformance inspection. A sample shall be subjected to confor
13、mance inspection in accordance with section 4.4. 3.3 Assemblies. The assemblies shall comply with all requirements specified on Dwg. 9251503. 3.4 Ammunition lot numbering. All mines and accessories shall be free of burrs, sharp edges, cracks, dirt, grease, rips, rust and other foreign matter. Colors shall be uniform. All required markings shall be neat and sharply defined. All packing compon

Unless otherwise specified, all inspections shall be performed in accordance with the test conditions specified herein. 4.3 First article. When spe
18、cified, a sample of the training assembly and subcomponents shall be subjected to first article inspection in accordance with Table II. 4.3.1 First article quantity. The first article sample shall consist of the following items in sample quantities as indicated in Table II. 4.3.2 First article rejec

Inspection sampling requirements for critical, major, and minor characteristics are defined in MIL-STD-1916, Table I and Table II. Critical characteris

Visually verify that ammunition lot number has been applied to each lot as described in MIL-STD-1168. 4.5.2 Workmanship. Visuall
38、y verify that all parts and assemblies meet requirements of 3.5. 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packaging. For acquisition purposes, the packaging requirements shall be as specified in contract or order (see 6.2). When actual packaging of materiel is to be performed by DoD or in-house personnel, these personnel n
39、eed to contact the responsible packaging activity to ascertain packaging requirements. Packaging requirements are maintained by the Inventory Control Points packaging activity within the Military Service or Defense Agency, or within the military services system command. Packaging data retrieval is a
40、vailable from the managing Military Departments or Defense Agencys automated packaging files, CD-ROM products, or by contacting the responsible packaging activity. 6. NOTES (This section contains information of a general or explanatory nature that may be helpful, but is not mandatory.) 6.1 Intended
41、use. The Mine, APERS, Practice M68 with accessories is an anti-personnel mine inert used in training personnel. 6.2 Acquisition requirements. Acquisition documents should specify the following: a. Title, number and date of this specification. b. Applicable stock number. c Packaging requirements, if
42、other than specified in Section 5. d Serialization requirements, if applicable. e. Certificate of conformance for each lot or shipment of product. 6.3 Drawings. Drawings listed in section 2 of this specification under the heading U.S. Army Armament, Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDE
43、C) may also include drawings prepared by, and identified as U.S. Army Armament, Research and Development Command (ARRADCOM), Frankford, Rock Island, or Picatinny drawings. Technical data originally prepared by these activities is now under the cognizance of ARDEC. 6.4 Submission of inspection equipm
44、ent designs for approval. Submit equipment designs as required to Commander, ARDEC, ATTN: RDAR-QEM-G, Picatinny, NJ 07806-5000. In addition, inspection equipment used for acceptance of product should be capable of repeatable measurements, by various experienced inspection/test personnel, to an accur

This inspection requirement should also be specified in the contract. Request letter of submittal should state
46、contractor, contract number, specification number, item nomenclature and classification of defects or test paragraph, inspection equipment, inspection method, accuracy of equipment, and the frequency of inspection should be submitted for approval to Commander, ARDEC, ATTN: RDAR-QEM-G, Picatinny, NJ
47、07806-5000. 6.5 Submission of alternative conformance provisions. All contractor proposed alternative conformance provisions will be submitted to the Government for evaluation/approval as directed by the contracting activity. Submit equipment designs as required to Commander, ARDEC, ATTN: RDAR-QEM-G
48、, Picatinny, NJ 07806-5000. 6.6 Automated acceptance inspection equipment. Equipment for which no, or minimal, human involvement is required in the acceptance determination. This would include equipment employing probes/sensors/transducers that are automatically manipulated to perform measuring and detection functions. If readout is provided, the equipment will be categorized as automated even if operator interpretation is needed in the accept/reject decision. 6.7 Subject term (key word) listing.
