Two thousand plus or minus 600 shall constitute the first lot manufactured on any contract except when a new contract im- mediately follows the manufacture of satis- factory material of the same character. 4.2 Sampling.-All samples
11、shall be se- lected by the inspector. Forty fuzes shall be selected from each lot for tests as specified in r the following paragraphs. Sampling of component materials is prescribed in para- graphs covering tests of the materials. 4.3 1nspeEfion.-Inspection shall be as spec- ified in Specification -
12、MEL-G-2550. 4.4 -Nonarming test of. resistance ring.- Twenty subassemblies each consisting of fir- ing pin, resistance ring, and sleeve, selected by the inspector from each lot before assem- bling the fuzes, shall be tested as follows: 4.4.1 Procedure.-Place each subassembly on a flat steel base, ce

18、 Weigh the sample accurately and transfer to a 250-ml. beaker. Add 100 ml. of acetone and heat to dissolve the tetryl. Filter the solution through a tared filtering crucible. and wash the residue in the crucible with two 25 ml. portions of acetone. Dry the crucible at 100C. for one hour; cool in a d
