Nothing in this document, however, supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exempti

14、on has been obtained. 3.1 First article. When specified (see 6.2), a sample shall be subjected to first article inspection (see 6.3) in accordance with 4.3. 3.2 Materials. The materials for the frame and frame bag shall be as specified herein awi as sham on the applicable drawings. that recycled mat

15、erial be used when practical as long as it meets the requirements of this specification. It is encouraged 3.3 Constnicrtion. The construction of the frame and frame bag shall conform to the applicable drawings (Drawing 5-4-7582 for the frame aiid Drawing 5-4-7604 for the frame bag) and as specified

16、herein. 3.3.1 Weldinq. AU welding shall be amplete, sound, smooth, uniform, and free from burn-through area, pits, slag inclusion, porosity, crack, fracture, weld sptter, flash, or excess flux deposit. Rough or projecting edges shall be ground SMOoth prior to finishing. 3.3.2 Castinus and tubinq. 3.

Automatic st

22、itching machines may be used to perform any of the required stitch patterns provided the requirements for the stitch pattern, stitches per inch, and size and tupe of thread are met, and at: least three or More tying, overlapping, or backstitches are used to secure the ends of stitching. 3.3.5 Thread

23、 ends. shall be trimned to a length of not more than 1/4 inch. being asseinbled/disassembled when tested as specified in 4.5.1. QUATJTY ASSURANCE PRVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contract
