7、aded fuzes shall be randomly selected from each lot for the test. If any assembly fails to comply with the requirements of the test, the lot shall be rejected. 4.3.3.1.2 After three (3) consecutive lots have complied with the criteria of 4.3.3.1.1 the sample size shall be as specified in 4.3.2.3. If

8、 any assembly fails to comply with the requirements of the test, the lot shall be rejected and testing shall revert to 4.3.3.1.1. 4.3.3.2 Proving Ground Tests. 4.3.3.2.1 Beginning with the .rirst lot produced and continuing until three (3) consecutive lots have been found acceptable a sample size of

9、 seventy (70) shall be randomly selected from each lot for the test. The lot shall be rejected if the requirements of 4.4.2.1 are not met. 4.3.3.2.2 After three (3) consecutive lots have complied with the criteria specified in 4.3.3.2.1, the sample size shall be as specified in 4.3.2.3. The lot shal

10、l be rejected if the requirements of 4.4.2.2 are not met and testing shall revert to 4.3.3.2.1. 4.3.3 Inspection Equipment. The inspection equipment re- quired to perform the examinations and tests prescribed herein is described in the “Paragraph Reference/Investigation Method“ column in the tables

11、starting with paragraph 4.3.2.1. The contractor shall submit for approval inspection equipment designs in accord- ance with the terms of the contract. See Section 6 of MIL-A-48078 and 6.3 herein. 4.4 Methods of Inspection. 4.4.1 Transportation Vibration Test. The loaded fuze assem- blies shall be su

12、bjected to the transportation vibration test in accordance with MIL-STD-331, Test 104, Procedure II. The sample shall then be radiographically inspected in two planes as follows to determine compliance with the safety aspects of the test: 16 Licensed by Information Handling Servicesu. The lead assembly output test shall be performed using the appropriate test equipment and a one-eighth inch thick le

Further, that portion of product

25、ion since the last control check shall be returned to the contracter for corrective action. a All presses removed from production because of some fault, may, after corrective action, be returned to production providing they pass the qualification test above. The samples shall be selected prior to as

26、sembly of lead disc and crimping and the following procedure used to determine the density of the explosive charge. 1. Measure and record height (h) from base of cup to top of . 2. explosive column to .O01 cm. Weigh and record weight of loaded cup to 0.001 gram. 3. Remove explosive from cup. 4. 5. M

27、easure inside diameter (d) of empty cup to .O01 cm. Weigh empty cup to 0.001 gram. 6. Measure end thickness of empty cup to .O01 cm. 7. Calculate weight of explosive by subtracting the value contained in (4) above from the value obtained in (2) above. 8. Calculate explosive column height by subtract

28、ing the cup thickness measured in (6) above from the total height (II) measured in (1) above. a 9. Calculate the explosive volume using the formula V =Wa r2 (h). (h is the value obtained in (8) above and r = d/2 from (5) above). 10. Calculate the density by dividing the weight obtained in (7) above

29、by the volume obtained in (9) above. If the density of any explosive lead falls outside the density limits specified on the applicable drawing, the lead shall be classed defective. The contractor may use another method of determining density provided approval of the method has been obtained from the

30、 contracting officer. 5. PACKAGING 5.1.1 Level A. 31、The lead assemblies shall be preserved and packaged in accordance with drawings 7548103 and 7548104. 5.2 Packincr 5.2.1 Level A. The fuzes shall be packed in accordance with the requirements and inspection procedures specified in MIL-P- 60412. 5.2.2 Level C. The lead assemblies shall be packed in ac

32、cordance with drawing 7548099. 5.3 Marking. 5.3.1 Level A.
