REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Material. Materials shall be in accordance with applicable drawings and specifications. 3.2 - Fuze. The loaded
11、fuze shall comply with all requirements specified on Drawing (Dwg.) 12597841, all associated drawings, and with all requirements specified in applicable specifications. requirements of MIL-STD-331 test 103.1 when tested as specified in 4.5.3. 3.3 Twelve meter drop test. The fuze shall conform with t
12、he 3.4 Leak test. The complete fuze shall show no evidence of leakage when tested as specified in 4.5.2. 3.5 Explosive functioning. The fuze shal-1 conform with the requirements MIL-STD-331 test 101.2, when tested as specified in 4.5.3. of MIL-STD-331 test 102.1 when tested

The fuze shall conform with the requirements of MIL-STD-331 test 111.1 criteria B. and shall be fully functional when tested as specified in 4.5.6. 3.9 Temperature and humidity. The fuze shall conform with the requirements of MIL-STD-331 test 105.1 whe
15、n tested as specified in 4.5.7. 3.10 Transportation vibration-temperature. The fuze shall conform with the requirements of specified in MIL-STD-331 test 119 when tested as specified in 4.5.8.- 3.11 Workmanship. 17、sing base metal. All required markings shall be neat and sharply defined. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified her
18、ein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the ins
19、pections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 Responsiblity for compliance. AI1 items must meet all. requirements of sections 3 and 5. The inspection set forth in this specification shall
20、become a part of the cntractors overall inspection system or quality program. The absence of any inspection requirements in the speciigation shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility of assuring that all products or supplies submitted to the Government for acceptance comply with all req
21、uirements of the contract. First article inspection. b. Quality conformance inspection. 4.3 First article inspection. 4.3.1 Submission. The contractor

The inspection equipment required do perform the examinations and tests prescribed herein is described In the Paragragh Reference/Inspect
43、ion Method column starting with 4.4.2.1 . The contractor shall submit, Inspection equipment designs for approval, in accordance with the terms of the contract. See section 6 of MIL-A-48078 and 6.3 herein. 4.5 Methods o inspection. 4.5.1 Specific gravity of booster lead and rotor lead assemblies. The
44、 sample shall be weighed and the weight recorded as A. The exposed explosive surface of each lead assembly shall be coated with a thin coat of molten wax. After the wax has solidified, the sample shall be weighed and the weight recorded as B. A 50 cubic centimeter (cc) pycnometer (specific gravity b
45、ottle) shall be filled with distilled waker at 20, plus or minus 2 degrees centigrade (C.) and weighed. The weight of the empty pycnometer shall be substracted from the water filled pycnometer and this weight difference recorded as D. The sample shall be transferred to the pycnometer, all air bubble
46、s shall be removed, water (at 20 degrees C. plus or minus 2 degrees C.) shall be added, if necessary, to fill the pycnometer and the pycnometer and contents weighed. The weight sf the empty pyanometex shall be subtracted from the preceding weight: determination and the result recorded as E. The expl
47、osive and wax shall be removed from the lead cups (toluene followed by acetone with a final washing in toluene is suggested) and the clean cups shall be weighed, the weight shall be recorded as F and the cups transferred to the pycnometer. With approximately 35 cc of water in the pycnometer, the wat
48、er and lead cups shall be boiled under vacuum to remove all air bubbles. The pycnometer and its contents shall be cooled to 20 degrees C., plus or minus 2 degrees C., distilled water at the same temperature added to fill the pycnometer and weighed. The weight of the empty pycnometer shall be subtracted from the preceding weight determination and the tesult recorded as G. Weight B shall be subtracted from weight E and this difference subtracted from weight D, this resul
