SCOPE 1.1 Scope This specification covers 24-volt direct-current, multifuel-burning, forced

2、-draft, engine-coolant heaters. 1.2 Classification. The coolant heaters shall be of the following nominal capacities, as specified (see 6.2) : Capacity A - 15,000 Btu per hour. Capacity B - 30,000 Btu per hour. Capacity C - 60,000 Btu per hour. 2. APPLICABLE COCUMENTS 2.1 The following documents of

The heater shall consist of a burner, combination combustion-chamber and heat-exchanger, combustion-air blower and fuel- metering and evaporiz

16、ing arrangement all assembled in one unit with necessary integral control devices, plus compatible but separate ac- cessories including a control box, wiring harness, fuel filter, fuel pump, coolant pump, and pressure relief valve. The heater shall be achptable for installation in either a horizonta

17、l or vertical position within the overall dimensions shown in Table I and with the coolant . discharge connection at the highest point. Table I. Protective devices shall not impair the operating functions. as specified in 3.8.3 and 3.8.4.2. or operation of the

The heater shall provide for quick disconnection and demouriting so that maintenance and adjustment can normally be ac- complished indoors. When denounted, all parts and assemblies of the heater shall be accessible for servicing, repair
