Page 1, 1.2, Classification Add “Type VII Shirt Collar, Petty Officer” Page 2, 2.1.1, Under the heading SPECIFICATIONS MILITARY Add: MIL-C-44436, class
3、1, dyed CG Blue 3362, Cloth, Camouflage Pattern, Wind Resistant Poplin, Nylon/ Cotton Blend. Page 4, 3.3.1, delete and substitute: “3.3.1 Background cloth. The background cloth for all embroidered designs except the petty officers shirt collar device shall conform to the requirements for type III, c
4、lass 3 of MIL-C-823. The background cloth for the petty officers collar device shall conform to the requirements specified in MIL-C-44436, class 1. The color of both fabrics shall match CG Blue 3362. Page 4, 3.3.5.1, Rayon yarn. Delete the second sentence and substitute: The white yarn for the Port
5、Securityman “PS” capital block letters, the shield of the petty office collar device, and the gold yarn for the chevrons of the petty officer collar device shall be 100/2 (+/-5) denier.” Page 4, 3.3.5.1.1 Colors. Page 4, 3.3.5 Schiffli-Embroidery Yarns. Add new paragraph 3.3.5.2
7、Polyester yarn. Two-ply polyester yarn is authorized in lieu of rayon. The polyester face yarn for the white, scarlet, and emerald green shades shall be 70/2 denier Schiffli yarn. The white yarn for the Port Securityman “PS” capital block letters, the shield for the petty officer collar device, and
8、the gold yarn for the chevrons of the petty officer collar device shall be 90/2 denier. Testing shall be as specified in 4.4.1. Page 8, Table II Color and Material for Design. Add the following new requirements under their respective columns “ CG 07, Blue plain weave, N/A, N/A, Gold, N/A, N/A, N/A,

At the bottom of table and under their respective columns add the following: “Type VII, Collar device, Petty Officer First Class, 1029, Figure 16, 1-7/16 x 1-5/16, 16-1-525 Second Class, 842, Figure 16, 1-5/16 x 1-5/16, 16-1-525 Third Class, 645, F
