SCOPE 1.1 Scope,- This specification covers the requirements of woven rayon g
2、arment labels or clothing items (see 6.1 and 6.4). 1.2 Classification.- The rayon woven labels shall be of one type in the sizes specified below (see 6.2). Size A - 1-5/16 inches wide by 3 inches long. Size B - 3/4 inch wide by 2 inches long. Size C - 2-1/4 inches wide by 4 inches long. Size D - 2-1
3、/4 inches wide by 5 inches long. 2. 14、t at 2800O Kelvin. 3.4.2 Colorfastness.- The labels shall show color fastness to wet drycleaning and perspiration equal to or better than the standard sample when tested as specified in 4.2.5. When no standard sample is available or when the standard sample is not referenced for colorfastness, the l
15、abels shall show “good“ color fastness to wet drycleaning and perspiration when tested as specified in 4.2.5. * 3.5 Size.- The size shall be as specified (see 1.2 and 6.2). A tolerance of minus 1/16 inch and plus 3/16 inch in length and width shall be permitted on the size specified. 3.6 Design and

17、 conform to the quality and grade of product established by this specification, and the occurrence of defects shall not exceed the applicable acceptable quality levels. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS J( 4.1 Responsibility for inspection.- Unless otherwise specified in the con- tract or purchase ord

PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY (Applicable to direct Government Procurement only) b 5.1 Packaging.- Packaging shall be level A or C as specified (see 6.2). * 5.1.1 Level A.- Five hundred (5 10) identical labels shall be packaged in a snug-fitting paperboard box conforming to variety 1, style

39、rotection against deterioration and physical damage during shipment from the supply source to the first receiving activity, when it meets these requirements.
