REQUIREMENTS 3.1 First article. a first article. Cannon, Mount, Baseplate or any part or portion thereof. specified (see
8、6.2.1), the first article shall be included in the first article package (see 5.1). 3.2 Materials, design and construction. to the drawings listed in Engineering Parts List EPL 7238503 (Cannon Assembly), EPL 7238469 (Mount Assembly), to this specification, and to MIL-C-13931. When specified in the c

The mortar assembly (cannon and mount) shall be capable of withstanding the stresses of firing and functional operation under service conditions. of 6800 - + 200 psi at 70F as specified in 4.6.5. 3.6.1 Functioning. mortar assembly (cannon and mount) durin

Where painting is specified for phosphate finished parts, application of supplementary oil shall be omitted. 3.9 Marking. in MIL-C-13931. 23、 shall be as specified in MIL-C-13931. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibiiity for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. in the contract or order, the su

30、ination of each mortar assembly (cannon and mount)- shall be completed after testing and prior to preservation and packaging to determine compliance with this specification, MIL-C-13931, and as specified in the contract. . 4.6.1.2 Inspection approval stamp. The application of the inspection approval
31、 stamp shall be as specified in MIL-C-13931. 4.6.2 Inspection equipment. Data lists containing drawing numbers of Govern- ment designed inspection equipment used in the-inspection of parts, sub- assemblies and assemblies are listed in DL 7238503 and DL 7238469. 4.6.2.1 Acquisition, maintenance and d
32、isposition. Unless otherwise specified, (see 6.2.1) responsibility for acquisition, maintenance and disposition of acceptance- inspection and- test equipment prescribed on the List- of Inspection Equipment DL 7238503 and DL 7238469 and for all other inspection equipment required to perform inspectio
33、n prescribed by applicable specifications, shall be in accordance with MIL-1-45607. 4.6.2.2 Accuracy of standard measuring equipment, When commercial and modified commercial inspection and test equipment is used, it shall be capable of repetitive measurements to an accuracy of 10 percent of the tota
34、l tolerance of the characteristic being inspected. 4.6.3 Examinations. 4.6.3.1 Firing pin protrusion. each firing mechanism assembly shall be inspected for the required protrusion in both the drop-fire and lever-fire modes to the dimensional requirements of 3.4.1. turn is listed in Index DL 7238503.
