This specification covers the Classroom Model for use in training personnel . 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 Government document

Noth

11、ing in this specification, however, shall supersede applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Material. Materials shall be in accordance with the applicable drawings and specif icatins. 3.2, Mine, classroom model. The classroom model shall com

12、ply with all requirements specified gn Drawing 9366675, and with al requirements specified in applicable specifications including . MIL-A-70780 and MIL-STD-1169 . 3.3 First article inspection. Thi-s specification contains technical provisions for first article inspection. the submission of first art

13、icle samples by the contractor shall be as specified in the contract. loaded and assembled in a thorough workmanlike manner; and all manufacturing, processing, and assembling operations shall be correctly performed. All parts and assemblies shall be clean, free of burxs, sharp edges, cracks, dirt, g

14、rease, rust, and other foreign matter that may impair proper functioning. The cleaning method used shall not be injurious to any part, nor shall the parts be contaminated by the cleaning agent (s) . 16、7355 7 W s MIL-M-70763 (AR) 4 . QUALiTY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the con

17、tract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own OK any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where

18、 such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. Unless otherwise specified herein, or in the contract, the provisions of MIL-A-48078 shall apply and are hereby made a part of this detail specification. requirements of sections 3 and 5. The i

19、nspection set forth in this specification shall become a part of the contractors overall inspection system or quality program. The absence of any inspection requirements in this specification shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility of assuring that. all products or supplies submitted

20、to the Government for acceptance comply with all requirements of the contract. Sampling in quality conformance does not authorize submission of known defective material, either indicated or actual, nor does it commit the Government to acceptance 4.1.1 Responsibility for compliance. All items must me

21、et all of defective material. 4.2 Classification of inspections . The following types of inspections shall be conducted on this item. a. First Article inspection. b. Quality Conformance Inspection . 4.3 First article inspection. 4.3.1 Submission. The contractor shall submit a first article as design

22、ated by the Contracting Officer for evaluation in accordance with provisions of 4.3,2 and 4.3.3. The first article sample shall consist of three (3) consecutively produced classroom models from each cav-ity of each mold. (The total quantity shall be three times the number of cavities). Fifteen (15)

23、classroom models shall be submitted if not produced by a molding process. 4.3.2 inspections to be performed. See MiL-A-48078 and Table I her ein . 4.3.3 Rejection. 25、.4.1 Inspection lot formation. inspection lots shall comply with the lot formation provisions of MIL-A-48078. inpection lots of classroom models shall. contain molding compound from one manufacturers batch. (See 4.4.1.1) In addition, 4.4.1.1 Molding compound batch. A molding compound batch is herein

26、 defined as material from one manufacturers lot, produced in one continuous unchanged process using raw materials from one homogeneous lot . 4.4.1.2 Classroom model batch. A batch of classroom models is herein defined as mines molded and cured in one unchanging process using molding compound from on

27、e batch (See 4.4.1.1) . The mines in the batch shall consist of material mixed and cured at one time. if a continuous type process is used, a batch of classroom models shall consist of that quantity of mines molded and cured within a four (4) hour period or portion thereof using molding compound fro

28、m one bat ch . 4.4.2 Examination. See MIL-A-48078. Testing is described in the First Article and Quality Conformance Inspection Tables . 4.4.4 Inspection equipment. The inspection equipment required to perform the examinati

35、ons and tests prescribed herein is described in the “Paragraph Ref erence/Inspection Method“ column in the tables starting with 4.4.2.1. equipment designs to the Government for approval in accordance with the terms of the contract. See Section 6 of MIL-A-48078. The contractor shall submit inspection

36、 4.4.5 Heat seal test. The contractor shall develop a heat seal test to detect any air leakage into the sealed bag assemblies. As a minimum the test shall be in accordance with the applicable test specified in MIL-P-116. Any test plan used shall be submitted to: ATTN: AMSMC-QAT-M (D) , Picatinny Ars

37、enal, NJ 07806-5000 for approval. 4.5.1 Dimensional control of molded or plastic parts. In place of the normal sampling and inspections associated with the Classification of Defects, and after a curing time for the parts has been approved (See Note 1) a sample of three (3) parts (as molded) from eac

38、h cavity shall be fully inspected dimensionally to qualify a new or reworked cavity for use in production. The molded parts shall carry the individual cavity identification. As a control of each cavity during production, the above quantity of parts from each cavity shall be inspected or at least the

39、 defects listed in 4.4.2.1 after continuous production of each 5,000 parts or at the end of each week, whichever occurs first. Of the three (3) samples, one (1) sample shall be the last part produced. If any defective parts are found during qualification of the cavity, the cavity producing the defec

40、tive part will not be used in production. If any defective parts are found when inspection is performed for the control of the cavity, the cavity producing the defective part shall be removed from production. Further, that portion of production since the last control check shall be returned to the c

41、ontractor for inspection for each separate type o defect according to MIL-STD-105, using an AQL of 0.40 percent for each major defect and an AQL of 0.65 percent for each minor defect. All cavities removed from production because of some fault, may, after reworking, be returned to production providin

42、g they pass the qualification test above . The contractor may request a change of inspection frequency providing he presents objective evidence to the Contracting Officer to substantiate the request or a change of inspection frequency. Contractor designs of gages and test equipment required to perfo

43、rm the inspections listed herein shall be forwarded to ARDEC, ATTN: AMSMC-QAT-M (D) , for approval prior to manufacture of equipment. 44、r networking permitted without license from IHS-,-,-MIL-il-70763 13 m 777770b 03573b 5 MIL-M-7 07 6 3 (AR) NOTE 1: In establishing a curing time, dimensionally check ten (10) parts from each cavity at periodic intervals (e.g. every 30, 60 etc mins) until dimensional stability is attained. The curing

45、 time will be from the time the parts comes out of the mold until dimensional stability is attained. The inspection data used in determining the curing time shall be sent to ARDEC, ATTN: AMSMC-QAT-M (D). If there is a change in material, or in the cycle time, or if a cavity is reworked, or a new cav

46、ity is used, a new curing time shall be established and approved. I 5. PACKING I 5.1 Unit. packaging. 5-.1.1 Level A. Level A unit packaging shall be in accordance with Dwg. 9366709. 5.1.2 Level B. Level B unit packaging shall have the same requirements as for Level A. 5.1.3 - Level C. Level C unit

47、packaging shall have the same requirements as for Level A. 5 2 Packing. 5.2.1 Level A. Level A packing shall be in accordance with Dwg, 9366710.- 5.2.2 - Level B. Level E packing shall have the same requirements as for Leve1.A. 5.2.3 Level C. Level C packing shall have the same requirements as for L

48、evel A. 5.3 Marking. 5.3.1 Level A. Level A marking shall be in accordance with Dwg. 9366709 and Dwg. 9366710. p 5.3.2 Level B. Level B marking shall have the same cequirements as for Levei A. 5.3.3 - Level C. Level C marking shall have the same requirements as for Level A. 5.4 Shippine. When shipme

49、nts of units from more than one lot are made atone time, each lot shall be kest separate, and the division between lots clearly indicated to prevent mixing of the lots in transit. The Pursuit Deterrent Classroom Model shall be shipped Category IV munitions of Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AAStE) .
