REQUIREMENTS * 3.1 First article.- When specified, the supplier shall furnish a sample for first article inspection and approval (see 4.2, 6.2 and 6.3). 3.2 Materials.-

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS * 4.1 Responsibility for inspection.- Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the
13、 contract or order, the supplier my use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements speci- fied herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of theinspections set forth in the specification where euch i
14、nspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 Inspection.- Sampling for inspection shall be performed in accordance with ML-STD-105, except where otherwiseindicated hereinafter. * 4.2 First article inspection.- When required (see 6.2), insp
15、ection of the first article shall be made of a completely fabricated item for all provisions of this document applicable to end item inspection. 4.3 Material and component inspection.- In accordance with 4.1 above, niaterials and components shall be inspected in accordance with all the requirements

PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Packaging.- Packaging

39、pecified (see 6.2). Level A packages shall be packed on end, five in length, three in width, and one in depth within a shipping container. Inside dimensions-of each shipping container shall approximate 24-1/4 inches in length, 20 inches in width, and 9-1/2 inches in depth. Approximate dimensions are
40、 furnished as a guide only. Each shipping container shall be closed and reinforced in accordance with the appendix of the applicable container specification. 41、e packed in a shipping container conforming to style RSC, type CF (variety SW) or SF, class domestic, grade 275 of PPP-B-636. Level A packages shall be packed on end, five in length, three in width, and one in depth within a shipping container. Inside dimensions of each shipping container shall appr
