2、1. SCOPE 1.1 Scope. This specification covers one type of Printed Circuit Board designated PL-l208/VRC which is used in vehicular communications systems utilizing TSEC/KY-8 units (See 6.1) 2, APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS 2.1 Issues of documents. The following documents, of the issue in effect on date of inv

3、itation for bids, form a part of this specification to the extent specified herein. When the gross weight exceeds 200 pounds, or the container length and width is 48 x 24 inches or more and the weight exceeds 100 pounds, 3 x 4 inch skids, laid flat, shall

5、be applied in accordance with the requirements of the container specification, or if not specified in the specification, in a manner which will adequately support the item and facilitate the use of material handling equipment. Closure and strapping shall be in accordance with the applicable containe

6、r specifica- tion or appendix thereto except that metal strapping shall conform to QQ-S-781, type I, finish A. 5.2.2 Level B. A quantity of Printed Circuit Board PL-l208/VRC, unit packed as specified in 5.1, shall be packed within a close-fitting box conforming to PPP-B-640, class 2, style E, or PPP

7、-B-636, type CF, class weather-resistant. The gross weight of boxes conforming to PPP-B-640 shall not exceed 250 pounds. Closure shall be in accordance with the appendix of the applicable box specification. Reinforcing shall be by pressure-sensitive filament tape banding or nonmetallic strapping con

8、forming to PPP-T-97 and PPP-S-760, respectively: selection of the material and application shall be in accordance with the appendix of the applicable box specification. 9、A (CR) width is 48 x 24 inches or more and the weight exceeds 100 pounds, containers will be pallet-mounted on pallets conforming to NN-P-71, group I or II woods. The load shall be “bonded“ to the pallet by strapping conforming to QQ-S-781, type I, finish A, or shrink film. 5.2.3 Commercial packing.

10、 Packing shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-1188. 5.3 Marking. 5.3.1 Military marking. In addition to any special marking required by the contract or order, interior packs and exterior shipping containers shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129. 5.3.2 Commercial marking. NOTES 6.1 Intended use. Printed Circuit Board PL-l

12、208/VRC is intended primarily for use in a vehicular communication system. The unit is normally used with the TSEC/KY-8 and HYL-3/TSEC. (See 1.1) 6.2 Ordering data. Procurement documents should specify the following:. a. Title, number, and date of this specification and any amendment thereto. b. Typ

13、e required. c. Level A, level B or Commercial preservation and packing. (See Section 5). d. First article pack(s) as follows: Makeup of pack (s) . Number of each kind of pack to be submitted. Inspection to be performed thereon. e. Marking and shipping of samples. f. When rough handling test is requi

14、red. g. Size data. Size limitations cited herein are based on the dimensions of the equipment for which these requ,ire- ments were established. Requests to exceed these limitations must be supported by data indicating why limitation cannot be met and recommend a revised limitation. 25 Licensed by In

Branching is a connected arrangement of ilaments (hyphae) formed by shoots or secondary stems growing from the main stem or filament (hypha). 6.32 Growth colonization. 19、equipment divisions conform to MIL-STD-280. 6.3.7 Definitions of inspection terms. The inspection terms used herein conform to MIL-STD-109. The followinu are abbreviated definitions selected from those given therein for immediate reference. 6.3.7.1 Inspection. Inspection .is the examination or testi

20、ng or both, of supplies to determine compliance with applicable requirements. Sampling is an element of inspection. 6.3.7.2 Examination. Examination consists of simple, generally non-destructive determinations of compliance, without use of special testing equipment. 6.3.7.3 Testing. Testing consists

21、 of determinations of compliance, using technical means. 6.4 Humidity. Natural climatic extremes may include 100 percent relative humidity, with condensation, up to 4 hours at a time. This requirement (see 3.8.3) is specified by MIL-STD-210. The moisture resistance test, using MIL-STD-810, is a proc

22、edure that gives a practical test approximating the natural conditions. 6.5 Group C inspection. Approval to ship may be withheld, at the discretion of the Government, pending the decision from the contracting officer on the adequacy of corrective action (see 4.5.3.3). 6.6 Location of operational tes

23、ts.
