The primers com- ponents shall comply with all requirements specified on Drawings (dwg.) 8838012, 8838015, 8838087, and 8838089 as applicable, and with all requirements specified in appli- cable specifications. 3.3 Hydrostatic te

8、st. The primer tubing shall withstand the application of a minimum (min.) hydrostatic pressure without rupture or indication of flaws, as evidenced by leaks, and without permanent deformation beyond drawing requirements, when tested as speci- fied in 4.4.1 (see 6.4). 3.4 Workmanship. All parts shall

9、 be fabri- cated and nished in a thorough, workman- like manner. They shall be dean and free of burrs, sharp edges, unblended radii, surface defects, cracks, chips, dirt, grease, rust and other. foreign matter. The cleaning method used shall not be injurious to any parts nor shall the parts be conta

10、minated by the clean- ing agent. All required marking shall be neat and sharply defined. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 General quality assurance. provisions. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection require-

11、 ments as specified herein. Except as other- wise specified, the supplier may utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. The Govern- ment reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed n

12、ecessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements, Reference shall be . . . . made to Standard MIL-STD-109 in order to define the terms used herein. If any component fails to comply wimth any of the applicable require- ments, the initial production sample sKall

14、 be rejected. The Government reserves the right to terminate its inspection upon any failure of a component in the sample to comply with any of the stated requirements. In the event of rejection, the Government reserves the right to require the contractor to take cor- rective action and submit a new

15、 initial pro- duction sample or portion thereof. Until an initial production is accepted, the contractor is in no way authorized by the Government to initiate regular production unless other- wise directed by the contracting officer. 4.3 Inspection provisions. 4.3.1 Lot formation. A lot shall consis

16、t of inert components produced by one manufac- turer in one unchanged process, in accord- ance with the same drawing, same drawing revision, same specification, and same speci- fication revision. Drawing, specification, and process changes not affecting safety, per- formance or interchangeability, a

17、s deter- mined by the Government, shall not necessi- tate changing the ,lot interfix number. The examinations and tests listed herein shall be performed on inspection lots submitted in accordance th Standard MILSTD-105, MIL-STD-1235 as applicable. The criteria and procedures for the assignment of in

18、spec- tion lot interfk numbers shall be in accord- ance with Standard MIL-STD-1168. 4.3.2 Examhation. Inspection for Critical defects shall be 100 percent. Sampling plans and procedures for Major and Minor defects shall be in accordance with Standard MIL- STD-105 except that continuous sampling plan

19、s in accordance with Standard MIL- STD-1235 may be used if approved by- the procuring activity. Also, at the option of the procuring activity, AQLs and sampling plans may be appIied in individual charac- . teristics listed using an AQL of 0.65 percent to any or all of the examinations or testa speci

This test shall be conducted 100 percent, If any primer tubing fails to comply with the applicable require- ment, it shall be classed defective and no primer bodies shall be fabricated therefrom. Inspection equipment drawings and lists provided and revised in accordance with the requirements of the IEL may be used by DOD activities for design, procurement, manufacture, testing, evaluation, production

39、and receiving inspection, overhaul, shipping, storage, identification of stuck, ordering and storage of replacement parts, inspection of items at overhaul, general maintenance of equipment, construction, survey and when- ever inspection equipment drawings are needed. 4.3.4.2 Szipply and maintenance.

40、 Supply and maintenance of the equipment listed on the IEL shall be in accordance with Specifi- cation MIL-1-45607. 4.3.4.3 Government use of contractors in- spection and test equipment. The contractor shall make available to the Government all inspection and test equipment necessary for determining

41、 conformance with contract re- quirements, Personnel for operating the equipment, and verification of its accuracy, shall be supplied by the contractor for the performance of examinatian or test by the Government. . %: 4.4 Test methods and procedures. 4.4.1 Hydrostatic test. 49、ns. Designs shall be submitted for approval to the Commanding Officer, Picatinny Arsenal, ATTN : SMUPA-ND. Design review normal- Custodian: Army-MU ly will be accomplished within one month after receipt by Picatinny Amenal. Partial submission of inspection equipment designs is permissible and encouraged. However, the Arsenal completion date for design review will be based on the date of the final sub- mission
