It provides voltage control, distribution, regulating, and battery charging functions when energized with a direct current of b

The panel assembly also provides voltage control, regulating, and distribution functions when energized from an emergency direct current 6 volt battery power source. 2. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Materials. Materials shall be in accordance with the draw
9、ings, specifications, and standards which form a part of this specifications. 3.2 Fabrication. The panel assembly shall be manufactured in accordance with the applicable drawings listed in Section 2 and drawings pertaining thereto. 3.3 General specification. The contractor shall be responsible for c
10、ompliance with the following requirements of MIL-F-13926: a. Order of precedence b. Dimensions and tolerances c. Inorganic protection surface finishes d. Part identification and marking e. Workmanship f. Soldering electrical connections 3.4 Environmental service conditions. Unless otherwise specifie
11、d, the panel assembly shall meet all requirements of this specification at an ambient temperature between +600 and +900 Fahrenheit (F). 3.4.1 Vibration. the panel assembly shall show no evidence of physical failure due to being vibrated successively along three (3) mutually perpendi- cular axes. Vib
12、ration shall be a simple harmonic motion, the frequency varying either linearly or logarithmically from 5 to 55 to 5 CPS in five (5) minute cycles for a total of 15 minutes along each of the axes. The amplitude of vibration shall be maintained constant at 1/64 inch (1/32 inch total excur- sion) (See

The panel assembly shall shoG no evidence of physical failure after being subjected to a minimum of 6 shock
14、s of at least 30 gravi- tational units (gs) with each shock being 11 4-1 milliseconds duration. 3.4.3 Operating temperatures. The panel assembly shall meet all the requirements of 3.6 while thermally stabilized at temperatures of -650 and +1500F, 3.4.4 Storage temperatures. After having been thermal
15、ly stabilized at temperatures of -800 and +1600F, the panel assembly shall show no evidence of damage and shall be capable of meeting all requirements of this specifi- cation at ambient temperatures between 60 and 90F. 3.5 Electrical service conditions. 3.5.1 Primary power source. The panel assembly
16、 shall meet the applicable requirements of 3.6 when energized with a primary power source of 18 VDC to 30 VDC. respect to J1-J in accordance with Drawing F11748431 for Panel Assembly 11834831. 18、el assembly shall not be damaged by the application of electrical potentials of 3.5.1 in reverse polarity. 3.5.4 Ground potential, When energized as specified in 3.5.1 exposed metallic surfaces of the panel assembly enclosure, exclusive of electrical terminations and sub-surface mounted parts, shall
19、 be at ground potential. 3.6 Performance. 3.6.1 Rheostat performance. The panel lamps (il) and reticle projector (R2) rheostats when rotated from an extreme clokwise (cw) to extreme counter- clockwise (ccw) position shall, exhibit no spasmodic performance throughout their range of rotation. 3.6.1.1
20、Rheostat R1. Rheostat R1 shall control total current as speci- fied in Table I, for each respective rheostat arm position and applied primary power source voltage. This regulation shall exist over the indicated primary power source voltage and under the speci

The battery charging circuit, operating on a primary power source input voltage of 18 to 30 VDC, shall be capable of supplying a charging current up to ,320 milliamps to the battery within one second after application of the input voltag

Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all insection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise speci- fied, the supplier m
33、ay utilize his own facilities or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assur supplies and se
34、rvices conform to prescribed requirements. The Government reserves the right to . 4.1.1 General provisions. The component and subassembly inspection requirements of MIL-F-13926 form a part of the Quality Assurance Provisions of this specification. Definitions of inspection terms shall be as listed i
35、n MIL-STD-109. 4.2 First article (initial production) approval. The requirement for first article approval and the responsibility (Government or contractor) for first article testing shall be as specified in the contract. The sample for first article approval tests shall consist of 3 panel assemblie
36、s plus 3 each of all items covered by SQAP. The sample shall be manufactured in- the same manner, using the same materials, equipment, processes, and procedures as used in regular production. All parts and materials, including packaging and packing, shall be obtained from the same source of supply a
37、s used in regular produc tion. 4.2.1 Government testing. When the Government is responsible for conduc- ting first article approval tests, the contractor, prior to submitting the sample to the Government, shall inspect the sample to insure that it conforms to all the requirements of the contract and
38、 submit a record of this inspection with the sample, including certificates of conformance for materials. 4.2.2 Contractor testing. When the contractor is responsible for conduc- ting first article approval tests, the sample shall be inspected by the contractor for all the requirements of the contra
39、ct. The sample and a record of this inspection, including certificates of conformance for materials, shall be submitted to the Government for approval. The Government reserves the right to witness the contractors inspection. 4.3 Inspection provisions. 4.3.1 Submission of product. Unless otherwise sp

All components and subassemblies shall be inspected in accordance with the inspection provisions contained in Supplementary Quality Assurance Provisions (SQAP) listed in the technical data package (TDP).
42、 In the absence of SQAPs, the applicable Quality Assurance Provisions of MIL-F-13926 shall apply. Examination, and tests related to Section 3 herein shall be performed on a single defect (individual charac- teristic) basis in accordance with MIL-STD-105 and the sampling plans speci- fied in Tables V
43、, VI, and VI1 herein. packing, and marking shall be in accordance with MIL-P-14232 and Section 5 herein. The tabulated classification of defects in Tables V, VI, and VI1 shall constitute the minimum inspection to be performed by the supplier after first article approval and prior to Government accep
