17、s. The individual item requirements shall be as specified herein and in accordance with the applicable specification sheets. In the event of any conflict between requirements of this specification and the specification sheets, the latter shall govern. 3.2 Guide samples. Unless otherwise specified (s

Materials shall conform to the referenced specifications and the requirements specified herein, 3.4.1 Copper Base Alloy. The copper base alloys shall be roll polished, free from p

23、cellulose rayon of the viscose or cuprammonium type with not less than 20 filaments for the single yarn. The pattern of the ribbon shall be as specified on applicable specification sheet. The warp and filling yarn shall be 5O/2 denier. 3.4.3 Color. The individual colors of the yarns used in the ribb

Unless a ribbon tie is specified, the thread for the tie shall be polyester or polyester/cotton, 300 denier and shall be an acceptable color match as indicated on the applicable specification sheet. 3.5 Metal forms. The metal forming the cup of the rosettes shall be made of 70/30 soft
30、 brass to be not more than .O10 inch thick and not less than .0095, draw quality. The cup shall conform to the design and measurements for the type indicated on specification sheet and shown on drawing B-6-7. punched on center to be .O35 plus or minus .O03 inch diameter. 31、he metal backing disc, (see B-6-7) is to be any type half/hard brass ,025 plus or minus .O05 inch thick. A .O35 plus or minus .O03 inch diameter hole shall be punched on center. 3.5.2 Prong and clutches. The prong shall be a standard commercial post 3/8 inch in length and 0.045 plus or minus .O03 in
32、ch in diameter. Prong and clutches shall be in accordance with drawing B-12-13. 3.6 Design. The design of the finished each rosette shall conform to the pattern as shown on the individual specification sheet (see supplement 1). 3.7 Construction. The ribbon for the cup specified in the applicable spe
33、cification sheet shall bs used to cover and line the metal form of the rosette. The ribbon shall be smoothly and securely cemented in place with a water insolvable adhesive. After the disc is in place and the post set the rose ribbon shall be pleated, tied in the center, (see 3.4.7) then opened to f
34、orm a double fan and cemented within the cup with a water insolvable adhesive. 3.7.1 Tinting edges. When applicable, the edges that have warp yarn exposed other than the required shade shall be colored with an opaque, water proof ink to match the base color of the ribbon. 3.8 Workmanship. The finish
35、ed rosette shall conform to the quality end grade of product established by this specification. shall not exceed the acceptable quality levels established by this specifi- cation. The occurrence of defects 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection, Unless otherwise specified
36、in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use-his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspect
37、ion require- ments specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspection set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 5 Provided by I

43、 be made on a completely finished rosettes for all provisions of this specification applicable to the end product examination and tests. 4.5 Quality conformance inspection. Inspection shall be in accordance with provisions set forth in MIL-STD-105, except where otherwise indicated. 4.5.1 Quality ass
44、urance inspection. Inspection shall be in accordance with the provisionsset forth in MIL-STD-105, except when otherwise specified hereafter. 4.5.1.1 Testing of components. In addition to the quality assurance provisions of subsidiary specifications, testing shall be in accordance with test methods s
45、pecified in FED-STD-191 or FED-STD-151 where applicable, and as specified in table II. When the data in the tlnumber of determinations per unit of product“ and the Vesults reported ast1 columns are not specified in table II they shall be as required by the referenced test method. The sample size sha
46、ll be in accordance with inspection level L-I of Standard MIL-STD-IO5 and the acceptable quality level (AQL) shall be 6.5 defects per 100 units.
