14、 been obtained. 3 REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Materials and components. 3.1.1 Materials. All materials used in the mnufacture of the regulator shall conform to the specifications forming a part of this specification. Materials not definitely specified shall be at- an accepted commercial type and grade suitable
15、 for the purpose intended. and imperfections that might affect serviceability of the assembled product. 16、 Components. All components shall be of an accepted commercial type and of the manufacturers latest design. 3.2 Design. The regulator shall be complete and capable of operation under the conditions speckfied in this specification. All regulators procured under this specification from one contractor
17、shall be physically and mechanically identical (Drawing 116-3-92). personnel. for 50,000 cycles (a cycle is designated as a 3 second flow of regulated air) . The regulator shall have an adjustment feature to obtain the setting specified in 3.3. The regulator shall be capable of operating at temperat
18、ures of -40“ to +l55“F. The weight of the regulator shall not exceed 1.0 pound. The inspection requirements specified herein are classified as follows: (a) (b) Preproduction inspection (see 4.3) . Quality conformance inspection

A preproduction sample of 63 regulators shall be manufactured using the same methods, materials, equipment, and processes as will be used dur- ing regular product ion. 4.3.2 Inspection procedure. 4.3.2.1 For examination and nondestructive tests.
34、 The preproduction lot shall be examined and tested in accordance with the classification of defects and with MILSTD-105. 4.3.2.2 For destructive tests. The weight of the regulator shall be verified by a weighing device accurate to 0.10 pound. 4.4 Quality conformance inspection. 4.4.1 Lotting. A lot shall consist of regulators produced by one
43、manufac- turer, at one plant, from the same materials and under essentially the same manufacturing conditions. 4.4.2 Sampling for examination. Sampling shall be conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105 . 4.4.3 Inspection procedure. 4.4.3.1 For examination. Sample regulators shall be examined in acco
44、rdance with the classification of defects and with MIL-STD-105. 4.4.3.2 Critical defects.
