QUALITY ASSURANCE PRDVISIONS 4.1 Resoonsibilitv for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the Except as otherwise contract or purc

The rpecimen shall be placed in a clean, dry container, thoroughly blended, and labeled to identify the container and lot represented. 4.4 Test methods. 4.4.1 Gen

15、eral. Distilled water, in accordance with ASTM D1193, and analytical grade reagents shall be used throughout the tests. Blank determinations shall be run in parallel with the tests, using the same quantities of reagents used in the tests, and corrections shall be applied .when necessary. 4.4.2 Volat

16、ile content. A sample of 10 grams shall be heated at 210 k SOC for 3 hours. Add 10 grams of sodium peroxide and again mix vith a platinum wire. Heet gently over a Meker burner until the mixture melts, then gradually raise the

18、temperature to the full heat of the burner. Swirl frequently. Cool end dissolve the melt in 100 rnl. of water contained in a 400 nil. beaker.
