SCOPE. 1.1 Scope. testing of the Countermeasure Set TS-3609 AN/ALQ-l56(V) Test Set, which is used to test and fault isolate the following units of the AN/ALQ-l56(V): This specification covers the requirements for the construction and Control

First article. When specified in the contract or purchase order, the 3.2 Co

The Test Set, Countermeasure Set TS-3609 AN/ALQ-l56(V) shall be constructed in accordance with the requirements of this specification and the drawings listed in the CECOMlData Lists DL-SM-B-920979 and DL-SM-A-920844. 3.2.1 Weight. The equipment weight including the transit case with all

18、components of the TS-3609/ALQ-l56(V), shall be no greater than 95 pounds. 3.3 Parts, Materials and Process; General. In addition to the requirements of this specification, the requirements of MIL-P-11268, including the selection requirements therein shall -apply. 3.3.1 Finish. The TS-3609/ALQ-l56(V)

19、 shall be finished in accordance with MIL- F-14072xhe equipment drawings. 3.3.2 Marking. 3.3.2.1 General. The wire 681B, System IV. The following items shall have serial numbers: Test Set, Countermeasure Set TS-3609/ALQ-l56(V) and Case, Test Set CY-7766/ALQ-l56(V 3.4 Printed Wiring Assemblies. Printed wiring assembl ies shall be fabricated and processed in accordan

22、ce with MIL-STD-275C and the equipment drawings. 3.5 Cable Assemblies, Electrical. Cable assemblies W1, W2, W3, W4, W5, W6, W7 W8, W9 and W10 chal 1 provide the interconnections between the TS-3609/ALQ-l56(V and AN/ALQ-l56(V) during testing. 3.6 Performance. Unless otherwise specified, performance r

23、equirements shall apply under standard conditions, service input power conditions, and service envi ronmental conditions. 3.6.1 System Compatibility. The Test Set Countermeasure Set TS-3609/ALQ-l56(V) (hereafter referred to as the BTS) provides the capability to localize mal- functions contained wit

24、hin, and performs operational checkouts of the AN/ALQ- 156(V) with a minimum of operator intervention during the execution of the test and diagnostic routines. The BTS shall exercise the operational functions of the AN/ALQ-l56(V) and provide the capability of isolating faults within a major rep1 ace

25、ment assembly. 3.6.2 Input Power. The BTS shall operate from 115 - t 4 Vac, 400 - + 20 Hertz, Y configuration, three phase power. 3.6.3 Power Supplies. The BTS internal power supplies shall provide sufficient power to operate the receiver transmitter (RT) and control units being tested while meeting

26、 the load requirements of the other BTS circuitry. 3.5.3.1 Low Voltage Supplies. The BTS low voltage supplies shall provide the f,. lowing outputs: Power Supply PS 1 PS 2 Voltage (DC) To1 erance t15V - t.15 -15V - t.15 t24 - t.24 t5v - +.l +24 - t1 .o 3.6.4 RT-1220/ALQ-l56(V) Inputs, The BTS shall p

27、rovide AC and DC power and simulated RF sianals to test the RT-1120/ALO-l56(V) and determine switch chanaes or logic levels-in its operational status. .8 3.6.4.1 AC Power. phase AC power to the RT-l220/ALQ-l56(V) under test via the front panel Power RT circuit breaker. The BTS shall provide filtered

DC Power. The BTS shall p

29、rovide 24 5 .24 Vdc to the RT-1220/ALQ-l56(V) 3.6.4.3 RF Signals. 156(V) under test to test that same RT unit. RF signal to produce the signals specified in TABLE II of SM-A-920699. The BTS shall utilize the RF output of the RT-l22O/ALQ- The BTS shall modulate or delay the 3.6.4.4 Switch Closures/Lo

30、qic Levels. The BTS shall provide the RT-l220/ALQ- 156(V) under test with switch closures or logic levels to test or simulate the following items: a. Channel Sel ect i on. b. BITE c. FMO Phase Code d. Antenna Switching e. XMTR Disabling 3.6.5 RT-1220/ALQ-156(V)Outputs. The BTS shall provide RF loads

31、 to the RT unit under test and monitor signals within that unit. 3.6.5.1 Test/Lamp Indicators;- The BTS shall provide a current status of the following functions within the AN/ALQ-l56(V) under test: a. RT-1220 BITE (PWR AMPL, VSWR/SW, LOW PWR, SYNC, PROC, PWR SPLY) CI (CM, PA ON, STBY, WRM UP) ADVIS

32、ORY (CM INOP, CM JAM) b. C-10131 ADVISORY (CM INOP, CM JAM) 3.6.5.2 RF Power Output. The BTS shall terminate the RT-1220/ALQ-l56(V) RF Power Output and provide a coupled output for external measurement of the RF signal. 3.6.5.3 Power Supply Outputs. The BTS shall monitor all of the RT-l22O/ALQ- 156(

33、V) internal power supply voltages using the METER switch and associated test points. 3.6.5.4 Signals. The BTS shall permit monitoring of integral RT-1220/ALQ-156(!/) signals through the front panel connectors, as shown in Tables I, II and III. 3.6.6 Control, C-10131/ALQ-l56(V) Inputs. The BTS shall

34、provide 24 t .24 Vdc to the control indicator C/I to power the C/I internal circuitry and lights. 5 t .1 Vdc shall also be applied to the C/I to illuminate the panel lighting. level shall be provided by the front panel C/I push button switch to test the C/I DIML input cqmmand. The BTS shall provi.de adv switch closures, monitor th

36、e channel select BCD control lines monitor the C/I CM command pulse. 3.6.8 Controls and Indicators. The front panel switches and control the functions of the BTS as follows: sory indicators, and load and indicators shall 3.6.8.1 Power. 3.6.8.1.1 Test Set, ON/OFF. The circuit breaker switch shall app

37、ly three phase 400Hz, 115 Vac power to the BTS and RT switch. light when phase A is available. The associated amber lamp shall 3.6.8.1.2 RT, ON/OFF. The circuit breaker shall apply three phase, 400 Hz, 115 Vac power to the RT being tested plus 24 volts shall be applied to the FMO pre- heat circuit i

38、n the RT. The amber lamp shall light when the switch is on and phase A is available. 3.6.8.2 Control Indicator. 3.6.8.2.1 ON/STBY/OFF. The switch shall control the operating mode of the RT being tested, OFF shall remove the 24 Vdc from the RT, STBY shall apply 24 Vdc to the RT, but inhibit the trans

39、mitter and ON shall apply 24 Vdc to RT and enable transmitter and synchronizer with RDYH signal . 3.6.8.2.2 Channel Select. The switch shall select the operating frequency of RT being testing by applying appropriate BCD Command to the RTs FMO assembly. preselect frequency shall be channel 13. Anothe

40、r position shall be “AUTOMATIC FREQUENCY SELECT“ which allows normal automatic frequency selection of the radar. The last position shall be “CM BITE“ which duplicates flare test switch on the control indicator. The 3.6.8.2.3 CM. The amber indicator lamp shall light when the RT processes a val id tar

41、getsignal . 3.6.8.2.4 PA ON. The amber indicator lamp shall light when the RT-1220 is radiating RF energy to the BTS and the level is within specified limits. 3.6.8.2.5 - STBY. switch is in the STBY position. 3.6.8.2.6 Warm-up. The amber indicator lamp shall light until the RT FMO assembly oven has

42、reached operating temperature and the C/i mode switch is in the STBY or ON position. The amber indicator lamp shall light when the ON/STBY/OFF 3.6.8.3 BITE Fault. 3.6.8.3.1 PWR AMPL. fier is overheated. The lamp shall light when the RT duplexer 3.6.8.3.3 LOW PWR. output level BITE monitor indicates a fault. The amber indicator lamp shall iight when the RT RF power 3.6.8.3.4 - SYNC.

45、 The amber indicator lamp shall light when the RT synchronizer BITE monitor indicates a fault. 3.6.8.3.5 - PROC. The amber indicator lamp shall light when the RT processor BITE monitor indicates a faul t. 3.6.8.3.6 PWR SPLY. The amber indicator lamp shall light when the RT power supply (+5V-f drops

46、below 2.4 Vdc. 3.6.8.4 Indicators. 3.6.8.4.1 C/I DIM. Depression of the switch shall simulate the DIM command to the system Control Indicator and to the BTS Control Indicator section. 3.6.8.4.2 LAMP DRVR. Depression of the switch shall activate all lamp drivers in the test set. 3.6i8.5 Test. - 3.6.8

47、.5.1 BITE; Continuous/Norm/Off. The Continuous position shall enable the RT BITE cycle to repeat continuously; the Norm position shall allow normal RT synchronizer control of the RT BITE cycle and the Off position shall inhibit the RT BITE cycle. 3.6.8.5.2 PA, Test Set Ovrd/Normal. Test Set OVRD pos

48、ition shall keep the PA on the enable the Switch Fault circuit in the R/T. 3.6.8.5.3 FMO Phase Code, Test/Norm/Off. The TEST position shall inhibit the RT Synchronizer from controlling the FMO phase code and inject a phase code test signal from the BTS to the RT FMO assembly. The NORM position shall

49、 allow the RT synchronizer assembly to control the phase code to the FMO assembly.
