A sliding reticle with a range marker line acts as a cursor for a combined multiple-ballistic data and

6、5 Packaging of Telescope, Elbow: M114E1 (Copies of specifications, standards, drawings and packaging sheets required by suppliers in connection with specific procurement functions should be obtained from the procuring activity or as directed by the contracting officer.) 2.2 Other publications.- The

7、following document forms a part of this specification to the .extent specified herein. indicated, the issue in effect on date of invitation for bids or request for proposal shall apply. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Regulations pertaining to radioactive devices.- Marking, identification, handling, and shipping of radioactive devices shall be in accordance with DSA

9、M 4145.8. 3.2 Fabrication.- The telescope shall be manufactured in accordance with Drawing F11730285. 3.3 General specification.- The following requirements of MIL-F-13926 shall be met: a. Order of precedence b. Dimensions and tolerances C. Inorganic protective surface finishes d. Part identificatio

Workmanship 3.4 Environmental. 3.4.1 Storage temperatures.- The telescope shall show no evidence of physical failure due to being thermally stabilized at -80“ and +160“ Fahrenheit (F) . 3.4.2 Operating temperatures.- The telescope shall meet the applicable requirements of 3.9 while

12、ycles per second with an amplitude of 1/16 inch (1/8 inch total excursion) for a period of five minutes plus or minus fifteen seconds. Subsequent to vibration, there shall be no evidence of physical failure. 3.6 Cleanliness.- The telescope shall meet the cleanliness require- ments of HIL-0-13830 and

13、 there shall be no more than 2 particles of dirt visible on the reticle. The area of each particle shall not be in excess of the areas equivalent to a size 10 dig. surfaces which interferes with observation or adversely affects image qua 1 i t y. There shall be no dirt on other 3.7 subjected to an i

14、nternal pressure of dry nitrogen at 5 psig for five minutes, nitrogen (dew point of nitrogen shall be at least as low as -25OF) at a pressure of between 0.1 and 0.25 psig. 15、.8 Accuracy. 3.8.1 Orientation.- With the telescope mounted on the front mounting surface and the rear cingular locating surface of the objective tube housing, the plane of the objective tube and the locating key shall be horizontal. 3.8.2 Collimation. 3.8.2.1 Reticle- lens.- The extreme left and ri

16、ght zero graduations shall coincide with a horizontal target line 20 mils above the geometric axis of the objective tube within k0.5 mil. HEXM482 ballistic data on the reticle lens shall be 36,s mils f 3 mils in azimuth from the boresight cross of the sliding reticle at the zero elevation position.

17、The vertical line of the 3.8.2.2 Sliding reticle.- With the telescope positioned as in 3.8.1 and the horizontal line of the boresight cross in coincidence with the zero graduation on the extreme right, the horizontal line shall be in coincidence with the zero graduation on the extreme left within 0.

18、2 mil; the line of sight through the boresight cross shall be parallel in azimuth to the geometric axis of the objective tube within 0.5 mil. 3.8.3 Eyepiece focus.- The eyepiece focus shall be adjustable over the range of plus and minus four diopters as read on the diopter scale. The zero of the dio

19、pter scale shall indicate zero diopters within 0.25 diopter. 3.8.4 Reticle accurac2.- The angular values, between the zero and maximum scale graduations for each of the three scales on the reticle lens shall be as indicated on the applicable drawings within 3.0 percent. 3 .- y Provided by IHSNot for

21、hift.- Changing th“e direction of rotation of the reticle knob shall not cause the horizontal line of the boresight cross to exceed the tolerance specified in 3.8.2.2; nor shall the boresight cross shift in azimuth in excess of 0.05 mil. 3.8.7 Resolution.- The resolution on the optical axis shall be

22、 five seconds of arc or less, 3.8.8 Reticle plumb travel.- With the telescope positioned as in 3.8.1, the line of sight through the boresight cross of the sliding reticle shall track a plumb line within plus or minus 0.5 mil, (total lateral spread not to exceed 0.5 mil) when the reticle is depressed

23、 by rotation over an excursion of 60 mils, as read on the mil scale of the . . reticle lens. 3.8.9 Parallelism Of reticle and image.- With the telescope. positioned as in 3.8.1, the vertical line of the mil scale shall be parallel to the image of the plumb line within 30 minutes. 3.8,lO Parallax.- W

24、ith the boresight cross positioned with 2.0 mils of the optical axis, parallax at the boresight cross shall not exceed 0.25 mil between 125 yards and infinity. 3.9 Operability.- The running torque required to rotate the diopter adjustment and the reticle knob shall not exceed the values specified in

25、 Table I at temperatures indicated when subjected to the requirements of 3.4.2. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection.- Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the per- formance of -al

28、l inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own facilities or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection require- ments specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Govern- ment reserves the right

29、to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary.to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. . 4.1.1 General provisions.- The component and subassembly inspection requirements of MIL-F-13926 form a part of the qualit

30、y assurance provisions of this specification. in MIL-STD-109. Definitions of inspection terms shall be as listed 4.2 First article (initial production) approval.- The requirement for first article approval and the responsibility (Government or contractor) for first article testing shall be as specif

31、ied in the contract. The sample for first article approval tests shall consist of three (3) tele- scopes plus three (3) each of al1 items covered by SQAP. The sample shall . be manufactured in the same manner, using the same materials, equipment, processes, and procedures as used in regular producti

32、on. All parts and materials, including packaging and packing, shall be obtained from the same source of supply as used in regular production. 4.2.1 Government testing.- When the Government is responsible for conducting first article approval tests, the contractor, prior to sub- mitting the sample to

33、 the Government, shall inspect the sample to insure that it conforms to all the requirements of the contract and submit a record of this inspection with the sample, including certificates,of conformance for materials. 4.2.2 Contractor testing.- When the contractor is responsible for The sample condu

34、cting first article approval tests, the sample shall be inspected by the contractor for all the requirements of the contract. and a record of this inspection, including certificates of conformance for materials, shall be submitted to the Government for approval. The Government reserves the right to

35、witness the contractors inspection. 4.3 Inspection provisions. 4.3.1 Submission of product.- Unless otherwise specified by the contracting officer, inspection lot size, lot formation and presentation of lots shall be in accordance with “Submission of Product“ provisions of MIL-STD-105. 4.3.2 Examina

37、pplementary Quality Assurance Provisions (SQAP) listed in the List of Inspection Documents (IEL), when provided with the technical data package (TDP). In the absence of SQAPs, the applj-cable Quality Assurance Provisions of MIL-F-13926 shall apply. . 4.3.2.2 Final acceptance inspection.- Subsequent

38、to first article approval, examination and tests related to Section 3 herein shall be performed on a single defect (individual characteristic) basis in accord- ance with MIL-STD-105 and the sampling plans specified in Table II herein. Examination and tests for Packaging, Packing and Marking shall be

39、 in accordance with MIL-P-14232 and Section 5 herein. The tabulated classifi- cation of defects in Table II shall constitute the minimum tnspection to be performed by the supplier after first article approval and prior to I Government acceptance or rejection by item or lot. 49、 reticle in coincidence with the horizontal re-icle line of the projected reticle. vertical limit lines of the projected reticle target. This intersecting point must fall within the limits of the pip lines to assure conformance with 3.8.2.2, Record this position.
