This specification covers gasoline-engine driven, four-wheel, two-rear-wheel drive, 10,oOo pound gross vehicle weight (GW) , dump truck. Vehicle procured un

The distribution of GVd for the purpose of establishing suspension, axle and tire capcities skiall be determined with the payload uniformily distributed over the load- ar?ar 3.2.4 Hating. Componen

10、t and vehicular rating shall not be raised to meet the requirements of this specification. Minimum GVii rating shall be 10,000 pourxis . 3.3 Performance. 3.3.1 Speeds and gradeability. Vehicle shall maiiltain a high speed of not less than 60 miles per hour (mph) on smooth, apgcoxirmtely level, hard

11、surfaced roads; vehicle shall be capable of asceniDg grades of at least :Ge -bon steel. Body floor shall be one piece, flat with no protrusions or depressions and fabricated frcun not less than lO- adjustment of the engine, electrical and brake system; filling and charging of battery; alinement of f

12、ront wheels; inflation of all tires; camplete lubrication of chassis, engine, and running gear, with grades of lubricants recommended for the ambient air temper- ature at the delivery point; servicing of cooling system with a solution of ethylene glycol and water in equal parts by volume and cycling

Quality assurance operations performed by the contractor will be subject to Government verification at unscheduled intervals.
