13、requirements 5.1 .I Bend tests Bend each leg through an angle of 90 near the centre of its length and in the normal direction of opening the split pin. The bend shall have radius of not more than D/2 maximum. After two bending operations of each leg the pin shall show no crack. These tests are to be
14、 done on 0, % of each batch produced. 5.1,2 Appearance Ends shall be free from sharp edges. The two legs closed to each other shall form a circular cross section. The eyelet shall be blended by a radius with the body of the split pin, but an indentation may be accepted if it forms no sharp angle at
15、the root and if the reduction of thickness of the leg is not more than 5 % nominal diameter. The split pins shall be free from cracks and any defects. 6 DESIGNATION Each split pin shall be designated by a reference made up as follows : Name I Identification block SPLIT PIN I EN2028-1 Number of EN st
