Test equipment - vice and hack saw, - flat saw-file (with one cut), bastard type, 150 mm, 200 mm or 250 mm long, in accordance with IS0 234-2, clean. 4 Procedure Cut the test specimen with the saw in order to obtain a test surface that is compatible with the file used. File the sect
7、ion in a horizontal position from the substrate towards the coating. The file shall be applied on the surface only during the forward stroke. 5 Fault sanction No flaking is permissible after visual inspection with the naked eye. 6 Test report It shall include the following : - reference to this standard, - number of the part or test specimen, - nature of the coating, - thickness of the coating, - test surface of the test specimen cut with saw, - type of file used, - test result.
