Malesherbes 25th April 1989 75008 PARIS - FRANCE aecrna 1989 O * O O prEN 3202 Page 3 1 Scope and field of application This standard establishes a recommended practice for calculating the diameters of surfaces that interface with the head of tee head bolts.
、It prevents the bolt rotating during tightening and incorrect assembly, 2 General design information 2.1 The minimum trap height should be the bolt head height. At places where the bolt head, during assembly, is inaccessible or not visible, the trap should be of such height that ensures head engagem
、ent before nut can be engaged on threads. Where this cannot be achieved a generous chamfer should be used. This prevents a wrong assembly. See figure 1. Figure 1 - Minimum trap height 2.2 Selection of bolts The hole dimensions for bolts as per EN 2931, EN 2933 and EN 2935 are listed in table 1. The
、holes for bolts with f7-shank as per EN 3293, EN 3294 and EN 3301 are defined in table 2 and 3. 3 Installation dimensions 3.1 Trap diameter The trap diameter definition is divided into two cases: - trap diameter smaller than pitch circle diameter, see 3.1.1 - trap diameter greater than pitch circle
、diameter, see 3.1.2. The diameter tolerance for the diameter F is t 0,l mm and the runout tolerance is 0,15 for cases with PD-shank bolts and 0,05 with f7-shank bolts. 7 .- I Previous page j is blank prEN 3202 Page 4 3.1.1 Trap diameter smaller than pitch circle diameter 1) Figure 2 The trap diamete
