Ordering Information4.1 Orders for anodes under this specification shall includethe following information:4.1.1 Grade (Section 5 and Table 1),4.1.2 Quantity (number of pi
8、eces), and4.1.3 Size, form, and shape as negotiated between purchaserand supplier.5. Chemical Composition5.1 LimitsThe material shall conform to the chemicalcomposition requirements prescribed in Table 1.5.2 Sampling:5.2.1 Sufficient samples shall be taken by the manufacturerto ensure conformance to
9、 the chemical composition require-ments of the metal. Samples may be taken from the moltenmetal when the cast anode or extrusion ingot is pouredfollowing Practice B953, or from the finished anode followingthe requirements of Specifications B954, E55,orE88. Samplesshall be representative of the mater
10、ial.5.2.2 Method of AnalysisAny suitable method of chemicalanalysis may be used. In case of dispute, the results secured byTest Method B954 shall be the basis of acceptance. Roundingof test results obtained shall be performed as directed inASTME29, Standard Practice for Using Significant Digits in T
11、estData to Determine Conformance wi th Specifications, unless analternative rounding method is specified by the customer orapplicable material specification.6. Property Testing6.1 Sufficient samples may be taken for property testing asnegotiated between purchaser and supplier. Testing will bedone in
12、 compliance with Test Method G97.7. Rejection8.1 Material that does not conform to the requirements ofthis specification may be rejected, and if rejected, the condi-tions of replacement shall be as agreed upon between thepurchaser and the supplier.9. 17、nd Package Marking9.1 The material shall be packaged in such a manner as toprevent damage in ordinary handling and transportation. Thetype of packing and gross weight of the individual containershall be left to the discretion of the supplier, unless otherwiseagreed upon between the purchaser and the

Packingmethods and containers shall be so selected as to permitmaximum utility of mechanical equipment in unloading andsubsequent handling.9.2 Packages or containers shall be such as to ensureacceptance by common or other carriers for safe transportationat the lowest rate to the point of
19、delivery.9.3 Each shipment shall be marked with the purchasersorder number, form, quantity, specification number, gross andnet weights, and the name of the manufacturer.10.
