Conceptual skills involve the ability to think in abstract terms the ability to see how parts fit together to

For example if industrial goods are components for industrial equipment it is important that their materials and craftsmanship are reliable enough to stand up to the use intended for them. Breakdown in a particular component could cause a complete equipment failure.
