Theyve been increasing their profits year by year from 1998 to 2003, and have reached their profit peaks in 2003, which were $900,000 and $700,000 respectively. While the two

10、 chain stores have made such achievements, the third one situated in the suburbs turned out unsatisfactory. Although it has gained a little progress in profit making, it has never surpassed the limit of $200,000. I assume that it is mainly due to its location, where there are not as many consumers a

11、round as in the places where the other two chain stores are situated. We can also see that the store in the downtown area has always maintained the highest profits. 二、 PART TWO 2 【正确答案】 Report on the Sales of the First Two Months of Our Company The sales volume and sales income of our company in the

12、 first two months turned out to be quite unsatisfactory. We even didnt reach the average sales volume and income the same time last year, not to mention achieving more. If the situation continues, it will form an obstacle to the further development of our company, or even become a threat to its surv

13、ival. After having analyzed the current sales situation carefully, I found there are some problems that must be solved if we are to enhance the sales of our company. First, we are rather weak in the promotion of our products. I dont think the company has expended sufficient money and effort on promo

14、ting our products. That is one area that we should strengthen. We should make sure that our products can reach our target market and our segmented target consumers through various media. In addition, I believe the pricing policy of our products is not so reasonable. Some of our products aim at the l

15、ow-income consumers, but we priced our products a little too high for them. Therefore, I suggest that we adjust the price and attract more customers. Finally, weve been slow in developing new products. As the market is changing fast and consumers needs and demands are also changing rapidly, we must respond to these changes as quickly as possible and put our new products into the market accordingly. In short, if we can make improvement in these areas mentioned above, we can surely enhance our sales volume and sales income greatly.
