A Extract 1 You are not providing product or service to yourself, so even if you are convinced that you have your finger on the pulse of the buying public, you must remain objective in your view of how others see you. B Extract 2 If there are any difficult but necessary policies or procedures that your customers must navigate through in order to do business with you, dont sugarcoat it by pretending th

5、at its simple or nonexistent. Instead, take some time to come up with a well thought-out explanation of the issue, and provide clear, detailed, and easy to find directions for addressing the issue. Usability testing for any automated system is a must! C Extract 3 Not to be condescending, but many ti

6、mes we axe so familiar with our product or service that we unconsciously feel that everyone has the same understanding we do. Assume that explanations and definitions are necessary, and then provide customers the option of passing them by when they are not needed. Web sites am great for this, as ter

7、ms and phrases can be presented in hypertext, where a user can click on the text and a definition or example can pop up in a new window. Dont make your customers have to seek out understanding of your product or service. Many of them will not pother with the effort, and simply move on to a competito

8、r who provides a clearer presentation of what they do, and the benefits therein. D Extract 4 You and your competition are going after the same market. Obviously, some of that market is choosing a competitor instead of you. Why is that? What is it that the competitor is doing to present itself, its b

9、usiness, and its benefits, which appeals to certain segments of the market? Identify, understand, and utilize these things to your advantage. If there are aspects of your competitors business that can improve your offerings, then borrow them and make them your own. If you can do them better, by all

10、means, do them and let customers and prospects know. You are never the only game in town; your market knows that, and you need to know it, too. E Extract 5 Be specific when you promise something, and by all means, deliver on that promise. If something prohibits you from delivering on that promise, y

11、ou need to notify the customer as soon as possible, be upfront about why you cannot deliver, and inquire as to what you can do to make amends. Your businesss credibility is at stake, so do not take this lightly. Otherwise, the expectations that youve set for your customers will be one of disappointm

12、ents, which is a surefire way to kill your business. 1 Use simple language to describe your products. 2 In this way, customer expectations will be set more realistically. 3 You can make use of others strengths. 4 Your corporate image will be damaged if you fail to do it. 5 You have a couple of ways

Inflation “Inflation“ is the term used to describe a rise in the general price level of goods and services. Note that individual

15、price increase, for example, due to seasonal shortages of food, is not classified as inflation. (0) D The first is the one in which the demand for goods and services (and the money available to purchase them) exceeds the supply available. There may be a large supply of money available for one or mor

16、e of several reasons; because government spending is relatively high; or because credit is easily available; or because people have relatively high disposable income (e. g. incomes after tax plus transfers, such as childrens allowances). When customers want to spend money on goods and services, but

17、there are not enough of them to meet the demand, prices rise accordingly. (9) The second situation which causes inflation is the one in which production costs are rising. Production costs include raw materials, energy, and wages. When workers find they cannot afford the goods and services they need

18、owing to the fact that prices are too high, they seek wage increases; sometimes increased production costs are absorbed in increased productivity or a reduction in profits so that they are not passed on in higher prices. More usually, however, they are not and, hence, prices rise. (10). These two ca

19、uses of inflation are often interrelated so that the one situation leads to the other which in turn leads to a recurrence of the first situation. (11) . A third cause of inflation may be government policy. A government can regulate prices by changing its tax policy. Governments can affect the level

20、of prices by controlling or regulating them, or by reducing taxes on goods and services and, accordingly, keeping prices down. Alternately, if a government does not regulate prices or if it imposes higher taxes (such as VAT), it may push prices up. Governments also occasionally attempt to control th

21、e level of wage increases and, hence, keep those production costs down. Lastly, as mentioned earlier, some people think that higher prices are often due to high government spending. (12) . First, because the real value of money tends to decline, lenders of money, such as banks, are less willing to l

22、end or are willing to do so only at higher interest rates. This makes borrowing more expensive, and thus may cause prices to rise even further, owing to the increased cost of borrowing. Second, there are many groups of people whose incomes are fixed or whose incomes tend to rise slowly and infrequen

23、tly. (13) . Old age pensioners are examples of one of these groups. Third, when people see the value of money being eroded, they are less willing to save. Accordingly, there is less money available for investment in the new equipment which is frequently necessary if productivity is to increase. (14)

30、without your close direction and support In a team members share decision-making and often build consensus, with two-way communication between manager and members There are joint work assignments and accountability on both the individual and team levels In a work group, the manager is the decision-m

31、aker, and there is a one-way, top-down pattern of communication。 Each member has individual work assignments, and each person is held accountable and appraised by the manager. Whether you operate as a work group or a team depends on three factors Firstly,the skill and motivational level of members S

32、killed and motivated employees need to be able to make decisions on their own and communicate upwardly when they need to This is a model for working as a team Secondly, the nature of the work Some work situations do not call for members to make decisions together, nor is there a need for much two wa
