11、ets results. An effective resume is one that gets results. The purpose of a resume is to obtain an interview and ultimately to get the job or internship. All the effort spent on writing a good resume is worth it and the tips below will help you write a resume that gets results. Be selective in the i

12、nformation you share on a resume and include only the details that are relevant to the employer and the position. Be concise and succinct in all descriptions and avoid the use of pronouns and articles whenever possible. Take a look at this resume template for ideas on what to include on your resume.

13、 1. Formatting for results. The formatting of a resume is very important and provides the necessary information in a logical, easy to read sequence. The use of underlines, italics, bold, and all caps can guide the employer through the resume with ease. (1)Consistency is key when developing a resume

I believe that a person should have well- defined purposes that have taken into account th

23、e total cost of foreign study vs. the probable benefits of having such an education. Unless the person has money to burn, the benefits must outweigh the costs. In my opinion, there are three common situations that prompt a student to study abroad. The first situation involves students who cannot gai

24、n admission to a reputable university in their home country. A typical example is a student who has not done well on his college entrance examinations. It must be very disappointing when a student finds out that be has been effectively excluded from studying in his home country. It would also seem u

25、nlikely that such a student would be successful at passing courses taught solely in a foreign language. Nevertheless, people who study abroad out of necessity are probably more motivated to succeed. The second situation involves people who want to pursue a course of study that is not available in th

26、eir home country. For example, a college graduate with a major in accounting might want to obtain a masters degree in a country where western accounting standards are taught and used. Some students simply desire a higher level of quality that is not available in their home country. Others hope that

27、a degree from a foreign university will earn them a higher salary in their home country. The third situation concerns students who are majoring in English or who have a strong desire to learn English in addition to their major. These students study abroad so that they can live and be taught in an En

28、glish speaking environment. They have probably discovered that it is nearly impossible to master a second language any other way. So these students benefit the most from studying abroad, In summary, I think there are many reasons for studying abroad, some good, some not so good. For a number of people, its the only way to attend a reputable university or to pursue an advanced course of study in their field. For others, it is the best way to master English.
