15、ilding of the Ice Hotel commences. A staggering 30,000 tons of snow is sprayed on to specially made metal moulds (vaulted steel pillars). Once the snow is sufficiently hard, the moulds are removed and used again to make further snow sections. The entire process lasts a month and culminates in the op

The finished chapel is formally handed over to Jukkasjarvi parish during the traditional Christmas service and will be used for church services, christenings and weddings until mid-April. 27、structure, the Ice Chapel, will gradually melt away during April and May, and the water will eventually return to the Tome River, thereby completing the cycle.
