3、 or free radicals produced by our body as a reaction to pollution, ultraviolet light, stress, smoking, alcohol and pesticides. But these can be neutralised by antioxidants. After conducting more than 3 000 tests, Dr. Wikenheiser believes that, on average, you can lower your biological age by 10 year

4、s in three months with the right lifestyle changes. “You cant alter your genetics but you can make other changes, such as eating the right food, drinking enough water to flush out toxins, exercising and managing stress,“ he says. But exercising too much is just as bad as not doing enough. Walking ou

5、t for more than two hours at a time every day puts too great a strain on your heart. “Multivitamin and antioxidant supplements are important even if youre eating the right amount of fruit and vegetables. Todays soil tends to lack essential minerals so these are no longer found in the food we eat, in

6、 large enough quantities. We should also swap (交换 )bleached white table salt for natural sea salt which is much better for us. “ Its also important to eat three meals a day. Missed meals put a strain on your brain as your blood sugar level drops. Many of us are also eating the wrong fats or avoiding

7、 fat altogether, so we miss out on important nutritional oils. “You should also ask your dentist what kind of fillings you have. 14、ad and understand. “ The team had discovered that even children who had half their brains removed could, by stimulation, achieve higher IQs than the average normal child. Then the team began to think if such amazing results could be achieved with brain damaged children, what would happen if the same

15、 treatment were given to normal children. So eight years ago the Better Baby Institute was opened for the benefit of normal children. The same stimulating enriched environment was provided, and, by the time the children left, around seven years old, they could generally speak and read three foreign

16、languages, play a musical instrument, read three full length books a week and do all the other things that a so-called “normal“ child could do. In Domans view, the childs passion to learn during the years up to six must be fed. He believes that, like muscles, the brain develops with use, especially

But, argues Mander, even if you reject or doubt what you see consciously, it is too late. He further argues that TV

27、is a deadening experience as it is restricted to just two senses sight and sound. Perception is dulled and flattened, says Mander, when you can t feel and smell and totally experience an event. People are just sitting passively for up to four hours a night watching a screen and listening to artifici

28、al sound. “No culture in history has spent such an enormous amount of time looking at artificial light,“ says Mander, “and another worrying fact is that prolonged exposure to artificial light alters human cells, which is why it is being used for certain medical treatment. “Researchers do not know if
