11、pability to make the decision whether, and in what form, they will take part in work like this. However, I believe the main issue here is not about whether unpaid community work will benefit students or not, but if making it compulsory is beneficial. In my opinion, instead of making voluntary work m

12、andatory, parents and teachers should encourage and provide students with opportunities to participate in it. Only in this way can students truly adopt a proper attitude towards community service, and actually learn from the experience of helping others out. So overall, I am confident that making co

Research, relating to identical twins, has highlighted how significant inherited char

23、acteristics can be for an individuals life. But whether these characteristics are able to develop within the personality of an individual surely depends on whether the circumstances allow such a development. It seems that the experiences we have in life are so unpredictable and so powerful, that the

24、y can boost or over-ride other influences, and there seems to be plenty of research findings to confirm this. My own view is that there is no one major influence in a persons life. Instead, the traits we inherit from our parents and the situations and experiences that we encounter in life are consta

25、ntly interacting. It is the interaction of the two that shapes a persons personality and dictates how that personality develops. If this were not true, then we would be able to predict the behavior and character of a person from the moment he was born. In conclusion, I do not think that either nature or nurture is the major influence on a person, but that both have powerful effects.
