11、s and high rise buildings. It also has lots of parks and green areas, which is nice. My favorite area is probably the shopping mall because it has so many great stores and I love to shop whenever I can! Its mainly families with children and retired couples. 12、o the city centre so its not very popular with them. Im studying at senior high school and then I hope to enter university to study architecture and town planning. Full time, of course, because Im still at school. When I start university Ill also be full time because my parents will support me while
13、 Im studying. After completing my architecture degree I hope to study at postgraduate level in either Spain or Italy. Thats my dream anyway. I read the national newspaper every day or every second day. I like to keep up with whats going on here and overseas so I make an effort to buy it and read it
14、quite often. Yes, actually I do. I think its because I have become used to this way and I know where to fad my favorite columnists and articles, as well as the TV listings. Its familiar. I guess Id also be curious about how the band has managed to stay together for so long in an industry which is renowned for break-ups and instability, because theyve been together for over twenty years and through several b

34、I also think celebrities have to be informed and knowledgeable about the issues they claim to believe in rather than just lending their names to causes they know nothing about in order to promote their own profile. They cant just use it for their own gain, they have to be genuinely concerned. When i
35、ts done well, theres a real benefit in having celebrity power in raising awareness and money for important issues, such as the benefit concert for the earthquake in Haiti for instance. Family is at the centre of life in my culture, so spending time with family is highly valued. For instance, we alwa
36、ys get together for family meals and we see each other all the time. Its important because family is simply the most important thing in life and we make it a priority, always. I guess its traditional and just reflects my cultures values. I think the old ways of socializing are still alive and well,
37、for instance networks through family and friends, school and university, sports clubs and so on, but this has been added to by other forms of new media socializing such as online social networks. I think these are particularly popular with the younger generation. This change has happened simply beca
38、use of the growth in new technologies which has made it possible, and while I think it is a positive change I think meeting people and talking is preferable. Well, I think this is the responsibility of the family to ensure that people dont feel isolated and lonely. They can offer strategies to suppo
39、rt the person socially, and get them the help they need if they are lacking social skills, self esteem and confidence. And in wider society, I think there could be more of a swing back to old fashioned ways of meeting people, face to face, rather than such a focus on the Internet, email and social networking, as I think these types of tools can end up making people feel even more alone.
