、Designation: D1763 00 (Reapproved 2013)Standard Specification forEpoxy Resins1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D1763; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parenth
、eses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval. This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the Department of Defense.1. Scope1.1 This specification covers totally reactive epoxy resinssupplied as liqu
、ids or solids which can be used for castings, coatings, tooling, potting, adhesives, or reinforced applica-tions. The addition of hardeners in the proper proportionscauses these resins to polymerize into infusible products. Theproperties of these products can be modified by the addition ofvarious fil
、lers, reinforcements, extenders, plasticizers, thixo-tropic agents, etc. The epoxy resins described also can be usedas stabilizers and cross-linking agents; and they can becombined with other reactive products.1.2 It is not the function of this specification to provideengineering data or to guide th
、e purchaser in the selection of amaterial for a specific end use. Ordinarily the properties listedin Table 1 and Table 2 are sufficient to characterize a materialunder this specification, and it is recommended that routineinspection be limited to testing for such properties.1.3 This standard does no

It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate safety and health practices and determine the applica-bility of regulatory limitations prior to use.1.4 The values stated in SI units are to
